And completely agree you re. The privilege thing, I’m lucky enough to have a desk, a MacBook (honestly changed my academic life getting this Mac), my own room and a printer in said room (it’s my whole families but no one else really needs it). The poor kids who are currently at home, having to do work on their phones etc :(
Dolapo it’s more expensive than my previous laptops so no doubt there’s better than macs, but the genuine speed and quality of it is undeniable

Honestly I'm loving online school too. Real school was always stressful
as an A level student who won’t be doing her exams anymore it’s nice hearing Spanish again lol

Sophie Wright teacher assessed grades! I need A*AA so as long as my teachers think I would have achieved those grades and put those down for me I’ll get into my first choice university :)

Eve, Argentina is doing a LOT better than Spain cause we started lockdown with only 128 cases and 3 deaths. After over a month of quarantine we only have 214 deaths I think. So even if they're no flights, clubs, etc. for September, for March next year is going to be ok *touch wood*
But then again might not be testing enough so not enough data to even compare to Spain. At least that's what's happening with Brazil =/

Tip- if your room is too dark, but a SAD light off Amazon , pop it on during “awake “ hours and turn it off in the late afternoon before you wind down.works a treat and helps regulate your sleep pattern :)
Going to your uni next year, it’s helpful to see how they’re dealing with it for when I get there! Doing art atm though, keeping me busy!

That's a really interesting point about the NHS not being a charity. We need to contribute to non profit organisations and charities so they can keep afloat and help people directly! I personally love Microst Teams as I have been on it for a month. I love the mirror screen aspect and being able to see a teacher mark my essay. Doing English A levels from home sucks.

And although this way classes are kind of comfier they seem to bore me so much more 😐

Yeah I'm stuck at my parent's house and I don't even have a desk, let alone a quiet place to go and study. It's so hard to focus. I'm a 2nd year so I still got plenty to do. I just have to try and do it sat on my bed.

Hey Eve, I live in Berlin and I think (and very desperately hope) that the whole corona situation is going to be okay in September. At the moment we are still allowed to go outside and meet with 1 person who isn't in our household, but university is online for the rest of the semester (till August). Actually the government makes ambivalent decisions this far (like they're easing the restrictions but on the same note make wearing a masks obligatory)
Nobody knows if there is going to be a second wave of the virus but thus far we are not as restricted as the British or Spanish people
