I like your choice in music!🎶Background setting is beautiful, Jeff. I hope you take the time to stand back and really look at it. Something that I just realized: I'm so involved in planty maintenance that I forget to step back and enjoy the journey.😂
Fantastic, informative video! It’s amazing how the plant looks after the pruning. Such shiny leaves on those pothos! Thanks so much for the information - so helpful
I spend a lot of time squeezing my pots ❤ there’s no squeezing the root ball of my big monstera, imma gonna have to cut back the rootball. I was shocked when I pulled the plant out of its pot, one huge dense rootball! I didn’t know I could trim it so i repotted in a bigger pot and gave it a little bit of fresh soil . Don’t think that’ll last, so, a trimming I will do!
Hi Jeff and thank you for your great video. I have big pothos which I may have to do it and cebu blue. Your recovered plants look super healthy. Great job 👍
Thank you for this informative video.. I have a question: Do you water immediately after cutting roots? Or should I wait a few days to prevent root root? Thanks.
WOW! This is so timely! I’d recently picked up a super full pot of Cebu Blue at Walmart. It’s been acclimating to my home in quarantine. Today, it suddenly has several yellow leaves. How quickly do these root in water?
I have propagated this in both water and perlite (prop box) and have had good success with both. I prefer the prop box method for sure as it is an easier transition to soil....but that is just a preference.
You saved me from making a disaster! Thank you
What was the disaster?
Much happier plants Geoff, your updated Pothos look great after their treatment too. 🐝🐝😀
Thanks Margaret!
Just root pruned a root bound pothos and i thought of this video ❤️.
Nice! How did it go?
@@EverythingPlants so far she looks better. I even pinned down some of the vines with straightened paper clips with a bend to act as a hook

My friend, have a good day
Would love to see those multi pothos pot maturing or the progress of it! Foliage arrangements will be so amazing!
Unfortunately it had an accident and I no longer have this. It was such a beautiful plant and I plan on doing it again
Another fun video. Great insight on the balance between roots and foliage.
Thanks Kris!

@@EverythingPlants will do that, then. Do you recall aprox how long it took? Like, 2 months?
@@beckypackqualls2745 too root? Oh geez I think they were fully rooted in like a few weeks.

Thanks!
Never would have thought to cut the roots like that 😳 I always they just need to be in bigger and bigger pots lol
