    You are beyond amazing!!!!!
    I have been learning from you for quite sometime and you are hands down THE BEST photography teacher in the Universe 🕺🥰👍🏻❤️. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
    I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this out for the past month.
    Perfect timing for this video. I wasn't liking my balding look 😆 There are hundred ways to do it, taught by 100 different photographers and as always you are the most easy to follow, most enjoyable to watch and explain everything so perfectly I think my cat could watch your video and be able to do it!!!
    I adore you you and can't thank you enough for sharing your beautiful skills and talents with the youtube world.
    Much Love ❤️
    Rachel ♥️

    Yea! More capture 1 content! I’m making the switch! This is a whole other beast to tackle. 😅 At least it seems that way without ever looking at it closely.

    Thanks for the Capture One editing tool demo! Really happy I took your advice about using Capture One! Live View and tethered shooting are game changers for me. I am moving over to Capture One for sure.

    Hey Jonnie, love your videos, been watching for ages. Here is a shortcut on changing the background colour. Put a Layer Style on Layer 1, use the Colour Overlay, you can click around your image and see the colour change in real time, rather than having to select a colour and then use the paint bucket.

    I loved this video so much Joanie! I've been meaning to learn C1, but at first glance, the interface is a lot intimidating. Your explanation and walk-through was so clear (as always). Thanks for inspiring me to give C1 another try. 🥰

    Is there a particular reason that you use tiff instead of psd? BTW, great video, thanks.

    Such a helpful video Joanie - thank you ;-) TWO QUESTIONS:
    1) What would you do differently in Photoshop if you didn't want to change background colour but instead but out the object (like in product photography where the client want a white background to products) - but without a colour so the product would get the client's chosen backdrop colour when they play it in?
    2) When I work in Lightroom on a image - then open from LR directly into Photoshop to edit - then save from Photoshop so the images comes back into LR with the PS-changes → then when I export files from LR they have change name ti a generic "jpg.my-name" instead of for instance "IMG_7265_myname" (the latter is what all the other images that haven't been through Photoshop. I can of course go and rename them afterwards in my file system but it is quite frustrating when I want to upload a lot of images to a client via an online galleri service - and then the images don't come in order since the filenames are change once they have been through Phosohop. Do you have any suggestions to how I can solve this? It will be EXTREMELY appreciated if you do 🙏🤓

    • @TheBiteShot
      @TheBiteShot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Susanne. So for a cut out object, one way to do it is not adding the additional layer of color and you could turn off the background and export just the layer with the mask cut out as a transparrent PNG. As for the naming conventions, been a while since I've been in LR so can't speak specifically to details of naming. I'd check out twolovesstudio.com and her resources to see if there's anything on workflow with naming as she's much more the Lightroom expert. Cheers!

    Any tricks for getting those perfect scoops?

    • @TheBiteShot
      @TheBiteShot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty much the same tips from my ice cream video from a few years ago tho probably time for an updated version, yes? Pre-scooped with my favorite scooper and put them on a sheet pan in the freezer and then worked quickly :)
