I've never bought a pair of Jordans before (when I was a teenager I couldn't afford them and then none came out that appealed to me until recently) but I wanted this pair so bad! Like you said - the history these represent is awesome and motivating, which is part of why I wanted them. I was on the sneakers app, clock hit 10 and I went to buy and had some in my cart and processing and............sold out. UGH. Such a disappointment. I don't know how those in sneaker culture do it. I'm gonna hope I'll eventually come across them one day on resale at less than double their cost, but I doubt I'll get that lucky. They look so slick tho - great review and thanks for addressing the frustration of regular consumers!

Nowadays they are so similar that nobody that you meet on the street apart from the .1% could tell it’s a rep and not real. This is how I got my Jordan 1s without breaking the bank.
