    It looks like it’s hyper-complicated and dangerous to be in a relationship. After experiencing more than 10 years married life and 15 happy single-hood I wonder how this psychologist would comment if she experienced the blissful peace of a single life. Why to be in a couple if there are more headaches than positives? I can’t get it.

    I agree, it’s imperative to teach our children the aspects of how they feel and think so they are aware of how they are being treated and what to accept from others. And for them to have their own mindset of thinking instead of following others for temporary gratification instead teaching them what it takes to have long term friendships and who they choose in their lives that needs to be meaningful. Also the more in depth communication as they grow into their ages and to respect each other and support each other.

    Thank you Dr.Mandela, I had brain surgery 9 weeks ago today and I really want to get toxins form antibiotics out out my body and needed this as a daily practice. I came home with thrush and it got worse went to my esophagus then my intestines, and then my Colin, so I ended up having Candidiasis! I was totally allergic to the 3 rounds of Ancelf during surgery and then they gave me doxycycline two days after surgery and I was totally allergic to it. I had nine side effects so I am trying to get all these toxins out of my body and get my good bacteria back and I think that doing all this to hand draining my lymph node system is just what I needed very much for detoxing and draining my lymph node system. You are a great demonstrating and easy to follow and remember because it’s not too much info a one time. A Great Big Thank You!!!!

    Lisa,
    Thank you for asking the question “how to know the difference between real emotion and gaslighting?” I find that this is a common question I ask myself… it’s a struggle for me to decipher the difference between the two, I am often left wondering if I am “damaged”, believing the opinion of the person I love… but also fighting something else within me… Haven’t been able to articulate it to myself or out-loud yet. Thank you for all your words of wisdom, different insights, and motivating self confidence.❤

    I've been completely alienated from my own three grandchildren for expressing my boundaries for safety peace and security.
    The punishment of seeing my beautiful grandchildren used as weapons and turned against their Memaw was nothing less than heart wrenching.
    There seems to be a cruelty and a punishment for any woman to be able to express her needs for safety, and that's been going on for millennia.
    I think Society is groomed to react in defensiveness.

    IF a partner is able to understand the other is reacting to some trauma that happened in their past, it is NOT ours to attempt to fix. The same if it is our own trauma. We can only help guide them to the clarity of 👉This is where professional help is needed.
    IF either of you knew HOW to do it differently you’d already be doing that.
    Get the help.
    And if the other is not willing to do that you then have to make a decision for yourself.
    Our well-being and eventually our physical health too, are NOT the price we pay for a relationship.
    And then too, get the help.

    • @Portia620
      @Portia620 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The therapist will tell you you gotta heal in the relationship so you can get the help while you’re in the relationship. You can sit in Therapy for years and never heal. It takes relationships to finish the healing part, but you have to be conscientious of your traumas and your triggers.

    Sorry you lost me on the supporting the erroneous emotional perspective, because the person is going through a phantom trauma in a relationship ( actually felt or not) that no longer exists. I won’t support the negative bias of the trauma or be a crutch in any way to that old pattern. I want my partner to grow new emotional limbs that can learn trusts so they gain the independence to build real boundaries on their own, and not just psycho babble that is not a path but a crutch for a traumatized person who doesn’t know how to make new patterns. I don’t support emotions related to my partner’s feelings related to this trauma. I need my partner to take the risk of trust and I reward them with my words matching my actions. I’m intuitive and consistent to create trust in my partner’s.

    • @Portia620
      @Portia620 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have yet for any therapist to help me make new patterns or any of the bs! I worked hard to heal myself as many don’t then know what abuse is sadly and allow us to sit in therapy and pay them as they listen and not once try to help us when we have small babies being abused! The system really helps people and trauma can be healed in a realionship after the prison has worked hard on themselves but healed is a joke!!!
      Here’s a little spoiler alert no one heals from trauma completely. It’s always there. I guess you call it a scar later on after you work through it but you don’t get over it because the brain is meant to protect us. It’s a survival mechanism. It is drained in the brain you can’t fix that honey .😂🤦‍♀️ these therapists are still trying to figure out how to fix it. What they need to do is help people learn to cope with it and be healthy.

    Am I the only one thinking... WTF is Nicole even trying to say? She seems to be glorifying her recovery from lets just say a "difficult" personality type.. lol. For Example.. My partner better have the dishes done and hot meal on the plate when I get home or else Im going to give them the silent treatment and stonewall them? WTF? Or she had to restrain her instincts to "dominate and control" in order to listen to her internal whatever? WTF?? Or in her last family story her natural instincts were to blame her partner for her internal distress?? Sorry Lisa but you shouldnt have fawned on this woman so much. It was slightly disturbing. Id be mortified if she was my "hollistic" psychologist 😂

      I think it's all insiteful+ she did remind me ov my X's mens attitude in my life, @ least she's learnt, I can honestly say all males in my life wudnt even want to change, ..just change partners to a more submissive un Woke new female, so growth is only positive if Ur prepared to self reflect+ try to learn+ understand, I'm going to single forever out ov choice now as I'm not prepared to teach support wait for a new partner to choose to grow emotionally ever again, less triggers+ headwork, I'm not bitter I'm just not wasting my life+ compassion nomore✌️💖🪽🪬🌸
