I have had good luck with diablo blades in everything except my circular saw. But that's because I abuse my poor saw, force it to go faster than I should, overheat the blade and start losing the carbide tips from the teeth. That's with a combo blade though. My next blade will just be for framing, now that I have more tools, my circ saw can be less of a swiss army saw. Lol.
You know this already though, you'ge watched me abuse a saw just because doing it was faster than explaining to you. Lol. Might even have video of it happening posted.
Also, I can teach you faster ways of notching. A jigsaw is a great way to do it, but I'd have done them on the mitersaw if there was more than one or two. Tablesaw or circ saw can work too. Or pretty much anything and a chisel.
Turned out great man! Now get the kids to sand it all down, wood filler the screw holes, throw some stain and poly on 'em, and they'll be heirloom worthy. Lol. Now I want to build one...
I’m thinking about adding a cross brace where the other loft bed joined. Overall the bracing and slats seem solid . I’ll watch it over time and will add as they get bigger. Thanks for watching 👊
Cute twins.
Thanks
Looks good Chris - well done
Thanks Eric. I hope all is well!
I hope you made it home. I just had an equinox blow up due to GM using a crappy motor 🙃...
😂 We made it!!! And a new equinox in the driveway
What size is your kids bedroom? Im looking to do something similar for three boys but my space is small
It’s a 10x14 … Thanks for watching
After cutting ALL the wood, I would have painted before assembling.
I wish I would have sanded prior to install

So far so good on the blade. Definitely worth the money 💰 vs standard stock blades
