Wow, that guitar looks like new! I was born in 1957 and I don't even come close to looking that fresh, even on my good days!!! Thank Guys and Gals for featuring such awesome guitars!!!!!
Lol.
Maybe time for a refin, probably won't affect the value 😉😄
I was born in '49 and I thimk I've a rather cool patina 👀(Moon equipped)
Wow indeed!! I had to check today wasn't the 1st April
I bet you scrub up alright !
One of the best GOTD episodes ever. Brandon's vintage guitar spec knowledge, Jen's cinematic personality and Lemmo's creative and interesting playing. PERFECT
Probably one of the few times in its very long life that instrument got to truly sing. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Michael is a cool dude, he has a million riffs up his sleeve!
I like seeing the price.....many times I can't find the Gotd in the store or on reverb to check it out. Keep doing that please. Thanks
That guitar has waited in a case it’s whole life for this moment!
One of the best GOTD in a while. It's nice you have figured out what to play on the "dark circuit". Yeah, it's nice!
Rockin' finish! ❤
I’ve always been a fan of the dark circuit. Thanks for spending a little more time on it. And, honestly, a stellar GOTD today - in every way!
I’m a fan of listening to other people play the dark circuit. But any I’ve had personally I end up getting aggravated with it. (Edit) I’ve never owned a vintage tele with a dark circuit. I’m referring to reissues and partscasters I’ve owned with a dark circuit.
Maybe I should have been more clear. I can’t play at all but I sure like it when I
hear it. ✌🏼
The Lemmo Loop, love it, beautiful sights and sounds thank you, and thanks for the knowledge Brandon
Ahh the amazing “glazed doughnut” finish as Mark Agnesi used to say. Absolutely beautiful guitar and playing. Great job with the explanation and specs as well.
It’s all a bunch of hype wake up to these posers all wankers
I popped into the shop earlier that day and got to hear this Tele played in person. I was confused that it was original, because it looks brand new in person. If I had the means, this would be THE one. Lemmo, outstanding as always!
You play my bad mood to shreds Lemmo! Thank you.
My BYG Tele! Sigh - I remember when I could have bought one for ~$500 - everyone wanted a Strat in the early 70s. Love this guitar!!!
That has to be one of best sounding Teles I've heard in a while. Thanks to Lemmo for showing off its versatility. Great work guys an especially to Jen for documenting these moments.
That dark circuit is smooth as lemmos playing! Love it! And love free t-shirts!
I love the amount of knowledge that everyone in the shop has. Really makes these videos very enjoyable! Keep up the great work!
A work of art and a piece of history. Thank you for sharing this with such respect for the instrument!
well now that tele is worth 100.000$ plus. thank your for bringing theese videos they have become a stable of my day.
the power of the spec check + lemmo demo!
Came for the Tele but stayed for the "find Brandon". Cheers guys love Guitar of the Day.
beautiful guitar. reminds me that in 1956 many of our Vietnam veterans were BORN! LONG LIVE USA.
Dude that Fender Tele is awesome that belongs in a guitar museum holy crap and it sounds wonderful.....Rock On
Wow, a Collectors Dream. Joe Bones will buy it.
Tele Tuesday is here once more, and yet another fabulous Telecaster to drool 🤤 over.
Very nice soothing nice and clean intonation Hope Norm’s healing well missing his cherry smiles
Wow just wow , no wonder all the greats used teles in the studio as they’re so versatile, great job guys and girls 🤩
Outstanding...
Where has' this mint Tele been for the last 66 years?! A humidfed vault I suspect. Absolutely gorgeous playing by Michael rigbt out of the gate.
a humidified vault? r u serious? still laughing and looking for my balls
@@palidiciovermingagurainia1760 eh why not?
@@palidiciovermingagurainia1760 I took it to mean "humidity controlled". At least I hope so, cos' if I bought this that is where I would keep it, paid for with all the money that allowed me to afford it!
Since an innocent comment has become a debate. Yeah, they didn't keep it in the backyard shed. But I doubt $50,000 would cover the cost of keeping it stored by a major museum or somewhere else w the technology.
it was still a tree 6 months ago -
Great combination of people and a really cool Tele
I love the tone on that Tele! ML gracias, stellar looping as usual.
Michael, I am always mesmerized watching you work the fretboard. Oh, Bye the way that 56 tele is to die for. George in Montana
Holy cow... my birthyear guitar and Michael just killed it. Thanks for sharing this.
such a contrast in sound! what a gem.
This one went straight into the faves folder. Not sure what to say, stunning piece.
That really is the cleanest old Telecaster I've ever seen in my life
Man what a combination ....Lemmo and a Fender....just awesome ....love the guitar man..And love Lemmos playing
Michael, great job with the Hot For Teacher riff. That would have hurt a lesser guitar, but the '56 Tele was up for it.
Swear everytime I hear a Telli it always makes me want to turn on some Billy D and the Hoodoos - Whyya do it, great song btw. Just something about that guitar and the blues like mmm 😎
Oh man, THAT is my dream tele and I play the lottery twice a week just because you never know, maybe one day i will win and be able to afford a guitar like that...so glad people have kept good care of it for me..looks like it is brand new! wow...great playing as usual Lemmo!!
HOLY JEEBUS WHAT A GREAT AXE AND PLAYER !!!! OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE LEMMO !!! THANKS JEN , THANKS BRANDON !!!
Almost missed Tele Tuesday! I love Tele Tuesday!!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmm good!
Crazy time capsule Fender right there! Just incredible. I can't believe that case.
Really good sound !! And she is flawless :) . Thanks you guys for your videos and your happiness each days ;)
THE TONE AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Beautiful .
I was born in 1956. That Tele is in much better shape than me!
Only the Classics with Brandon
Bridge pup tears it up...great stuff guys...thanks
The tone on that guitar damn!!! And pretty 🤩
That guitar sounds l8ke it needs to be in the studio to record sounds so good with Michael playing omg
That is the most perfect collector 56 Telecaster l have ever seen, crazy ! 😳
W. O. W !!!!!!! She's beautiful 😍
I have a 2020 tele American pro which I love. I just wish I could play it 1,000th as well as you. The vibrato you make look so easy.
Awesome 56 Tele.... that late 80's or early 90'ish Lemmo has a world class sound as well!
Fan-tab-ulous Mike! Great sound and great work on all settings!🎸
Im just buying a t shirt lol ive commented on every video almost two years lol great spec check brandon great video guys.
Very nice guitar love the Telecaster God bless!!!
Magnifico.
That's amazing, I really wish one guitar like that.
A learn too much when I see your videos guys, I hope that some day play the guitar like Michael. Thanks for amazing videos. Greetings from Mexico.
I was born Dec 55 so really a 56 boy and my fave guitar yes a Tele and a 56 at that. In far better condition than I. Soriano magical appearance illusion (is there no end to the talent in this store), magic playing by Lemmo. Can things get any better. Thanks guys heavenly.
This thing is beautiful !
I'm sure Joe B. is gonna buy it, lol
That’s the nicest guitar I’ve ever seen on this channel.
Like taking a museum kept, vintage first year 911 on the autobahn!🔥
Gorgeous guitar! Sounds great. It looks like someone bought the red V. That makes me both happy and sad.
Lemmo is such an incredible guitarist. His playing on guitar of the day has inspired me and helped me improve and broaden my own playing style!
That being said, somebody needs to tell him to take his rings off when he’s jamming on a piece of history like this!! 😂
very nice playing
OMG, what an amazing guitar!
Nice little upgrades to the episode today guys! And that tele 🥹
Jenn hysteria in the first 30 seconds got to love it
Whoah ... Sanitary ! Gorgeous '56 !
what a dream!
What a gorgeous guitar. Great playing too Michael!
Well that's the first time I've loved the sound of that dark circuit! LMAO is a magician.
Wow, that's a nice guitar. Great playing too 😀
Awesome I love a telecaster in my opinion tele is the best I hope some day to be able to afford to get a USA mine are China made but I love them
Pretty sure Buck Owens and the country guys are spinning right now!! Seriously cool guitar with an equally cool amp! Nice playin'
Great video guys!
It's almost unbelievable that this guitar can be in such an immaculate condition! A real beauty indeed. You spoke of the original Blackgaurd Tele's. This is the Whitegaurd version as far as my knowledge goes. Anyway, it's a stunning guitar and a treasure to own for some lucky dude.
Wow! Hard to believe!
That is a thing of pure beauty. Everything about that guitar is an absolute dream and that tone.....oh that gorgeous tone! I can dream can't I...thank you for sharing that with us...
Such a beautiful guitar 🎸. And you make it sound so sweet!
That bridge pu is amazing 🤩
Lemmo is Hot for Teacher; I'm hot for that immaculate '56 Tele. What a guitar, masterfully played. Love the history lesson, too.
Great playing Michael
Yeah, an incredibly preserved 68 year old guitar. And then they hand it to Liberace with the grinder Super Bowl rings. That van Halen rendition was almost as on par as John Mayers live version of Panama. Really brought out that vintage tele sound.
Pretty pretty pretty good
Yes you can get both pickups together with that circuit; just nudge the switch in the position between both pickups.
That's the one. I wish the custom shop would do a brand new un-reliced version of this. Also my favorite tele decal alignment on the headstock.
Killing it lemmo! Sweet geet 🤟
Wow. So good. I’ve seen new guitars older than that.
I would too Jen ! Love you guys
That 56'' fender case just immediately cured my brain cells from degeneration!
When you played through the loop, it sounded awesome. All that was missing was a guy playing drums, to it.
Love the dark circuit!
C'mon you all, well are all going to get Mr. Lemmo's new album? Let's go...call a few friends and turn them on to a great talent.
Struggling to believe that instrument is the age it is ,others have atrophied tuners and bridge but this looks manufactured this year, just shows how much I really know
That thing is immortal
Nice work on the dark circuit.
Electrifying demo!
Lemmo, I love listening to your playing. You play with such precision.
How in the hell did someone keep that thing from checking? Not a single flaw.
Must of kept it in a very well controlled humidor.
It not only super clean n beautiful but it sounds clean like in 56! It’s younger n better looking than me 🤣🤣🤣☮️
I love you guys and tell Norman I said get well I’m a sucker for a Telecaster great video keep rocking in the free world!❤️🩹🎸👍🏼
