Your videos are wonderful. Our family just love watching your adventures. However, my youngest daughter is particularly smitten with you guys and watching your videos has become our little Daddy/Daughter thing before bedtime. Thank you so much for taking the time to allow others to share in your adventures and thanks for making the T-shirts available again! I just bought one for for each of us... Hopefully, when my kids get older, we can trade in our little Whaler for a sailboat and retrace some of your voyages. Till then, if you ever find yourself back in the Ocean City, NJ area...I think we owe you a dinner :)

You should use red filter with your light at night time. With red light you dont lose your eyesight in the dark, when navigating..

FYI or you may already know thats a king mackerel (of spanish mackerel) in spanish its called sierra, which translates to hacksaw. its because of its teeth they are even and sharp like a hacksaw.

The Dry Tortugas is a Marine biologist's dream. Love the area, many successful fishing trips.
Dr. Samuel Mudd was a prisoner @ Fort Jefferson after his conviction when he treated John Wilkes Booth shortly after President Lincoln's assassination. He received a life sentence but was later commuted in 1869 shortly after a futile escape attempt.
To construct Fort Jefferson, about 16 million bricks were used.
An American crocodile has been seen living in the Fort Jefferson area since 2014.

I grew up with green beans being called string beans...they are the same. Safe trip, tight sails. If you don't have it, you can't get it in the Dry Tortugas. Take everything you think you'll need plus enough for extra weather days. I'd stop at The Marguesas if I were you. It's a great place to dingy around. Great fishing too. The seas always get funky around the Quicksands. It's where the currents mix and the bottom contours reflect it. Nice King Mackerel. Congratulations. Maybe stop at Newfound Harbor on your way back North? Do check out The Marguesas, you'll be glad you did. I'm impressed you made sixty miles in a day, you do have a fast flat sailing boat now. Hope you like the Fort. It's one of my favorite places in America. Looking forward to your next video. Thanks.

Hey, are you reading "A Land Remembered" by Patrick Smith? Great book. I really like the way he wrote in a historical fiction manner; lots of Florida history in his writing. He has several other books that are also excellent. There is a youth version of "A Land Remembered" that young people can read. I have all of his books signed by Mr. Smith. He passed away several years ago. Check out his other books after you finish this one.

Fort Jefferson is a neat place. I like the History behind it. My daughter and I took a cruise out there and snorkeled inside the mote area. The guard let a few of us ck it out and there were so many cool fish, sea urchins and a giant star fish. There is Bush Key on the island where birds nest and stop by during migration. It can be loud with a lot of squawking but really cool to view from afar. Congrats on catching the King fish! Your boat is really nice, ya'll did a great job finding this one. Jetty needs pee pee pads. You can teach a dog new tricks. She's definitely a good traveling companion. Be safe!

Hi Sierra, that was a great start I felt like giving you a cuddle. There's a good thing about boating, you can move, if you were in a house with inconsiderate neighbours your stuck. As you get older you will feel this attitude more and more it's " stuff you jack I'm alright " we have it a lot here like there's no tomorrow. It's why they have old age homes, people creeping around saying sshhhhh. Ha ha live it up kid.
