How to move your shoulders in samba. It's very easy to move with the hips, right? Just listen to the music, and the hips will just start moving. It's so natural. And it's side by side, you just have to [me], and you move. Same thing for the shoulders. So let's try, nice and slow. First, we're going to have your right shoulder forward, left shoulder back. And switch. And switch. And switch. And switch. Keep your knees nice and soft. And switch. And it's front and back. So you push with the right shoulder forward, left shoulder back, and then you switch sides. A little bit faster. Front and back. And front and back. And front and back. And front and back. And push. And push. And front, and back.
Now a little bit faster. And one, and two, and three, and four. And your torso starts moving as well, and your hips now are relaxed, and your knees are soft, and you're going front and back a little bit faster. [Six more], front and back. And as you can see, you're bouncing on your knees up and down. It's impossible not to let your body move, right? After all, it's samba.
And let's start to go even a little bit faster if you can. Relax, and think of dadadadada, dadadadada, dadadadada, dadadadada, dadadadada.
So now let's just add the feet. Open and close. Open and close. Open and close. And let's do that while you do your shoulders. And dadadadada. And dadadadada. And dadadadada. And dadadadada. Good.
That's with the side by side step. So now let's try your shoulders with the basic samba step. Small. Small shoulders. And then you can go faster speeds, too.
