“If you say ‘hello’ to someone and they don’t greet you back in reciprocal energy… move on to someone who is on the same frequency as you. And perhaps practice learning to adapt your frequency to others over time.” That’s such a great and actionable way to explain how street photographers get in the right mindset to create images. I’ll definitely try to put it to practice!
Alex, I'm loving your videos! There is something different about them right now. It feels like you've given a little more flavor to your already amazing videos. keep is up!
Great mood and great photos. Man, too bad about about the film stock. It's a great look. You know, I kind of had to develop a sense for who to interact with during my travels in France and Spain, especially in regions where English was not as commonly spoken. And even in cities, I tried to look around for friendly faces who might be up to giving directions and point us the right way. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers.
When I visited japan I stayed in Harajuku it was really interesting to see the two sides, Definitely prefered the side you focused on. Its a cool experience. Cant wait to get back to japan. Also been lovign these new videos man, so entertaining. Loved the hsot of the dude sitting on the step.
The street portraits were so good!!! Also, another awesome video! Similar to the previous one, I think this one has an really cool vibe and, highlighting the psychology and human interaction between you and your subjects when taking street portraits adds a sort of really nice"3rd dimension" to these photos besides the already awesome visual quality of them. Already looking forward to the next one. 👏👏👏
I would say we have less crepes than before 2017 because more tapioca boba tea opened up. So now you can hold both while wearing a "Samurai" kanji shirt on.
Takeshita street has gone so kitsch, 28 yrs ago when I first visited it was just teen early 20's girls hangout, it started losing it's unique charm early 2000's. Now it's full of tourists and def a no go to anyone experiencing real Japan. Shame, but hey time moves on. It happens all over the world. You should explore Osaka and environs , still have that old and transitional side to it.
Yes. Also it would be quite off tone to speak too casually like I do with my friends. I'm being myself by myself. Can't always caiter to the mainstream OCD ADD TH-cam audience that responds to constant yelling at the camera.
@@AlexOnStreets Why would it be off tone? Your casual speaking was always chill already. It felt more authentic and real - maybe it's just me. I find the triplet rhythm hard to audibly follow, but I'm just one person. Do you, man. I'm still watching. I still watch that Three Blind Men and an Elephant guy and he talks the same.

Yoo happy on this one! I totally am catching up now on the new videos of yours
Nice one! Streets of Japan looking so pleasant 😁
You have one of the best TH-cam channels. Love your attitude. Respect!
I love this new video format - so clean and chill.
Love the vibe and that you're putting yourself out there.
Man, Alex, your videos have become sooo damn gooooood! Hontoni arigato gozaimasu!
Dope video and portraits ! 😎
I am also always amazed by how good your portraits backgrounds are. Carefully chosen, I guess. 🤌

I really enjoyed the Lack of music & the ambient sounds of the street in portions of the video!
i like your approach to taking the photos on the street. How do you share your information with the person being photographed?
Alex air bending on streets :D This is my favourite one so far! Gotta agree, when the energy is reciprocated, great things happen!
Your images are really nice!
Beautiful colours! Pity it is discontinued...man fuji could make a killing bringing back some of the films and creating a manual modern film camera.
Great vd and advice
Perpetual smile on my face throughout this. Those encounters mean so much in so many ways to both parties, I'm sure. 7:56 = fave!
Thanks my brother truly ☺️ 🍻
Loved this! Great photos and the mood was nice. Exploring Harajuku is a favourite memory of mine!
Buenas Mornings Alex!!! Thanks for the Video!! Great way to start my Sunday 😃
Great mood and great photos.

Great job! I did this in Shinjuku yesterday, wish I had film like you though! ☺
Loved that advice about personal frequencies. Great video bro 😊
This was soo good thanks 🙏
Best one yet 🙌🏻
Such a cool and relax video :)

Is every other building on Takeshita Street still a crepe shop?

Blooper end scene 🤣🤣
Thanks for being a champ. 😅
How come you're speaking in triplets in this new series Alex? Did you get a lot of new English second language subscribers recently?
Yes.
Also it would be quite off tone to speak too casually like I do with my friends. I'm being myself by myself. Can't always caiter to the mainstream OCD ADD TH-cam audience that responds to constant yelling at the camera.
