great video how any miles did you walk to get to the lighthouse plus how long did it take you to reach the top
It’s about 1 1/4 miles to the top! Paved path, very gradual easy hike. We did it in an hour round trip at a leisurely pace but you can plan for extra time to take in the view and photos!

🌴 Aloha!~ @Daniel Lensch Yes, as Katie Smith said, this hike takes about an hour round trip. And as you can see in this video, it is a very easy hiking trail because the road is well paved. This hike is easier than the Diamond Head hike. If you're planning to hike here, I hope you'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Mahalo for watching!! ^^ 🤙

I grew up in Kalama Valley. Never did this dang trail once.

The road looks so much better than it looked when I use to walk up there years ago. Best place to watch the Humpback Whales. Thanks for the memories.

They swim about 3,000 miles to waters near Alaska where they spend the summer months feeding on krill and small fish. ( 17:44 ) Mahalo for watching!! ^^ 🤙
