@@belchmelchagreed, nobody i respect is gonna say they’ve seen all they need to see after AOC’s rookie year. All I’m saying is the Raiders are greater than many teams if you go position by position and I think the sum of all parts can overcome mid-tier QB performance.
@@belchmelch the only problem with anticipation throws when you don’t really have a strong arm is it leaves you open to getting picked if the secondary is watching their film. He has to throw it much earlier than other stronger armed QBs to get the ball out when and where it needs to be, and that allows smart corners to jump the route. Everything I’ve heard says he looks better than he did last year, and he’ll need to be, because every DC in the league is going to be dialing it up against us to try to get pressure on him. Aidan was horrendous against pressure, so he’ll need a lot better pocket awareness and to work on his arm strength if he’s gonna be the guy
@@johnq.8167 I agree, our roster overall is much better than everyone is putting it out to be. However this team has basically done a full reversal of how it used to be. It was “Can the offense put enough points on the board to stay ahead before the defense shits its pants” to “Can we score any points before the defense gasses out?” We still have the same 3 and out problem we’ve always had, and I’m hoping utilizing Bowers and Mayer makes it easy on to keep the chains moving

Al Davis takes Montez Sweat at #4. 6'6 ran a 4.41 40 at DE. We had a huge need at DE and al would no the able to contain himself with the fastest 40 time ever for a DE. Metcalf with the 2nd 1st rounder and the third first rounder Abram is a very good possibility, but Al loves corners and I think he would lean towards Greedy Willams and his 4.37 speed and 6'2 height. He has flashbacks of Asomugha. 2nd round Irv Smith. Al Davis saw that Smith go for the long TD in championship game. And sees a better Ricky Dudley.

The author of the article thinks like a fan, in that if you draft a a QB in the first round it means success. It doesn't. The Raiders offseason was fantastic. They finally signed a good free agent after 20 years. The didn't sign 5 free agents who all turn out to suck. Did they overpay for Wilkens, yes. Will he live up lot the contact, no. That a what free agency is, it's overpaying for players because the franchise failed in the draft. But he is a good football player. And spending 100+ million on one good player is better than spending 100 million on two shitty players.
Used to love the Marc and BD content a year and a half ago or so. If BD won’t even do a guest appearance here or there, why’s he brought up? Anyway; the quitters name triggers a why even mention him imo. Love the content fyi.
