    Rucher Pionk and Schmidt for Laine and a pick?

    This is also a team that routinely played Mason Appleton over Nik Ehlers. So he might have a point.

      That's what people keep missing. A lot of Jets' fans are taking it personally, but the fact is this team does not treat prospects well. And far too often, loyalty to vets is rewarded over playing young guys. Even as a raw rookie and needing to work on deficiencies, he brings an edge to his game that none of current forwards have. And this is a team that needs players who are built for the playoffs, and McG fits that bill to T. But because this organization wants to keep using their outdated methods where they don't give prospects a realistic chance to make the main team, he's going to get traded.
      There's a problem when in the last 6 years or so, Dylan Samberg has been the only prospect that has become a regular on the Jets.

    Try to draft Canadians if possible.

      His trades don't cover up the issues that still plague this team. He's good at making transactions to feel holes, but he's not good at actually assembling a contender. 3 playoff series wins in 13 years speaks to that.

    The Jets they want to win now, but how many good young prospects are we going to lose by doing this. The Jets need to find a happy medium and hope that the pics workout. If you don't play them in the NHL you will never know

    • @pomerlain8924
      @pomerlain8924 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly. As it is, the Jets are nowhere close to winning now with what they have on their forward group. They're undersized, they have no physicality, and when they face adversity, they fold. And if the top 6 goes cold, the team can't score. Rutger would be raw as rookie and still have to work on his deficiencies, but he would be a breath of fresh air. He has offensive skill and he plays a physical game. Two traits that are much needed on this team and would be an improvement over the likes of Appleton or Iafallo.
      The fact is the Jets had an American-born player that was happy to play for them if he was given a realistic opportunity to make the team out of camp. Not a guaranteed roster spot, just a realistic path to making the team next season. This should have been a no-brainer. And TNSE and Chevy are so stuck in their outmoded ways, they don't even want to do that. And Chipman claims he wants people to come to the games. What better way to get people to come to the games than having your first round pick getting a chance in the line-up. I'm pretty sure players like Appleton, Schmidt, and Iafallo are not going to draw sellouts.

    The team that should get McGroarty is LA coz he was really good in acting and should have a career in showbusiness 😅

    Would it not be a great thing to get the two best buddies together again cuz ehlers and Patrick Laine would be a fun line. Getting rid of ehlers would be a mistake he's one of the most exciting players in the league definitely the most exciting player on the Jets. I hear talk that we need speed and scoring well that's what ehlers brings why would you go elsewhere taking a chance on somebody you don't know what they will actually bring.

    I like the Mcgroarty for Geekie maybe Utah could absorb Pionk contract since not many dmen and tons of cap.
