@@Mr.Corinthians imma be honest man it never let me down never had to tow it nun of that its my daily always drove it around 2 hours a day on freeways the only downside about this cars it’s the automatic transmission started to slip other than that is a solid car if you want a clean daily I’d recommend a Infiniti q50 with the 3.7or Infiniti g37 or g35 they super reliable and fun cars manual or auto they the best bang for it’s price and if you don’t care about looks just get a Honda or Camry super reliable cars
@@Mr.Corinthians high mileage but I owned 2 before. The 4.6 and 5.0 and I gotta say the 4.6 is super reliable especially with the 6 speed. Honestly they might be good to go for 250k + miles with regular maintenance I never worried with that car.
I own a 2011 4.6 Genesis Love love it, giving it to my son and getting a 2017 Genesis G80. This is the only Brand car that I will ever drive now. Spoiled.
brianroyal1 okay and Lincoln is a ford. Ford is one of the most poorly manufactured vehicles with the some of the LOWEST resale value numbers. This car will outlast the Lincoln and even though Hyundai also has lower resale value due to an originally weak reputation, they are slowly increasing and will always be worth more than Lincolns of comparable year and spec on the used market.
I just bought my second one, my first was a base 2011 with the 3.8. Just bought a 2010 with the V8 loaded out with every option! My V6 was dead reliable from 71k to 110k with no issues at all
I have an 09 4.6, 145k miles. Had it since 119k. One issue I’ve had is if I turn it off then fill it up with gas it doesn’t want to start. Other than that it has served me fantastically.
@@TheFresh918 yes for phone calls. The car actually wasn’t made to play music through the Bluetooth connected to the car. I used a little device that plugs into the cigarette lighter and it connects to my radio and my phone, so I can play music from my phone.

$10,900 for a 2009 Genesis V8 with 150K miles...wow You could buy a 2-3 year newer Equus with 50K less miles for that price I need to drive my 2011 Hyundai Equus...with 75K miles...down to this dealer and tell him I want $13K on trade Based on the Genesis price it seems he could sell it for $16K
He probably paid $3500 for it, thats pretty much rule of thumb with a buy here pay here, the down payment just paid for the car and all your payments are straight profit. The clientele that buy from lots like these dont usually have any other options so these lots cam unfortunately name thier prices

I had a 2013 genesis r spec 5.0 I really like the car but engine oil consumption and transmission rough shift stress me out and I trade the car for a q50 redsport. So yeah hyunday comfortable car but that's it. I had to add oil every thousand miles and transmission slam like crazy at the end of the day hyunday is cheap for something think about it...

your MKS is just a rebadged ford Taurus with a chrome nose. The genesis is a purpose built luxury/sport sedan with considerably more quality
