Thanks for the update. I was sad to hear that you had sold the truck. But there will always be another truck somewhere down the road, if you want another one.
I bought my '68 back in 2003. I've done very little to it except rebuild the 327, replace the transmission that I had burned up, and replace the rear axle that had failed while towing a trailer back home. I had kept the truck because I knew that in time my kids will be grown and gone, and all that I have left at home is a 15 yo daughter who is dying to drive my truck. It'll be a daddy/daughter project, one that we both would appreciate doing.

I quit working on it last month, I’m in the same boat I don’t know whether to move forward or sell. I wasn’tWorking during Covid so I got to do a lot to it. Now that I’m back to work I don’t have time for it

Paul, I am happy for you if you feel you have made the right choice. Family changes many things from a house to the vehicles you need. I have watched hours of video to “See” what works, what won’t but mostly to learn. I am doing my last and only restomod, my 67 C10. I guess I am the complete opposite of a younger health guy with a decent means, yet little wrench / weld time. As a dealer tech, you put on dealer parts, not now. That’s why I watched. We are empty nesters, little income some better than many, but dealing with back & elbows issues. But who cares, that happens after 60. I started in the truck as my first vehicle, and plan to end with this model. I am making it mine except with a service manual, parts list, complete schematic including photos of components & connector end views!
You may have to change for Paul_C10 to Paul w/vehicle? Best of luck. dk_omaha
