I really want to agree with Casey on this one but the thing is I’m not just going to give my attention and time away so easily a woman will have to earn it from me. I partially agree with you. My entire life I was basically unaware of the impact that not having a father had on me. As a matter of fact I never even really thought about it until I was in my 20s. To this day I have no urge to have a father figure whatsoever, I just understand what the ramifications of that roles absence were
But as I got older and actually became a man I realized how profound the loss of having a male role model to shape your perception of what it means to be a man in this world. Especially when I didn't even have any male role models whatsoever. No coaches, Uncles, nothing.

You’re exactly right. Here’s another way of looking at it. My ten year relationship to a bossy, pushy overweight single mother just ended because I decided to quit being passive and start being masculine and assertive. Women like her that can’t otherwise get a man want a man that’s a pushover they can browbeat and control. Thank god I finally made the switch. Today I was in the store on two different occasions and and encountered two women that I simply said hello and asked how the day was going and 15 minutes later as I walked away from the two of them I had their number as well as them validating and confirming if I'm going to call. Yes, men are passive. Your message in general is very true, but.........Men are passive today because everything, including laws, is in favor of women, man can get blasted by a woman even if he looks at her and she could interpret this into awkward stalker situation and literally destroy that mans life. For example at the workout at gym there's a guy who glances at her for 1 second, it would be enough to blast them, that's what guys are scared of and these guys are not even doing anything wrong. Sometimes they're not even looking at their direction making it a social component now where people are terrified to get exposed on social media. The social stigma is so incredibly harsh it leaves no room for self expression for men. In the current social climate most men have been absolutely bullied out of having any sort of preference, standard or boundary. Men constantly get shamed for articulating or even having anything that can be viewed as "controlling" or "insecure". This is the destruction of men's impulse to be protectors in the relationship and protecting relationships from attack essentially. Men are disposable, women are not. Men just don't want that sh1t on their shoulders anymore, enough of games, enough of playing around. Modern women do not follow our lead, they don't follow anyone's lead, they only follow their emotions which goes like a roller-coaster up and down on any given moment.

I don't think rejection is the issue; I could care less about a woman's validation because I know more often than not it's shallow and fleeting. Are men more passive today in areas other than dating? Yes, I'd agree but when it comes to dating it makes sense. I know I'm going to get rejected thats not giving up its being realistic. It's disheartening but its honestly easier to avoid any attempts at an emotional relationship with a woman and just pay for services if you want sex. Focus on building a career, having hobbies, and male friends and your set because more often than not the relationship of growing old with one woman is simply not going to happen.

I made eye contact with a girl 8-9 in a metro(train) but i wasn't sure that if she wants me to initiate verbal contact or it was a just a fluke, she proceeds to give me slight side eye and i kinda knew that she wanted me to say hi but still not 100℅ sure but after some time when i gathered enough courage to talk to her then immediately i started getting thoughts like" What if she slaps me in front of these people, what if she publicaly humiliates me, what if i creep tf out her, why would such a pretty girl would even talk to me anyways " Cut short i just looked her one last time and again had a eye contact and straight up went home without saying a word.......

There was this debris in the gutter that I have to swerve around every time I drive around this parking lot's perimeter. My thing is that Im not fearful of rejection as much as Im fearful of her saying yeah and then realizing the real me is more nerdy, nice, awkward and expressive. How ya doing, mah brutha from anutha mutha. I recently subbed after stumbling across your channel. I like the way you think. I agree. I do have a question or two though. The first thing that got my attention was the 'stat' you gave stating that the average guy passed over his potential wife 50 times in the last year. Where did that figure come from and how did they figure that out? I'm curious as to how "they" would even do that survey - IF that's what it was. I assume so. As you see, communication is NOT a problem be verbally or text. The fear most men have, I think, is the possible legalities involved. That kinda started about 25 years back when they started cracking down on us construction workers hangin' off the sides of buildings giving "cat calls" down to the skirts walking by at lunch everyday. They passed a law making it a punishable offense. What I'm not sure of is...was it an early form of "me too" slowly coming to fruition? Who else could lobby for those laws? So, I'm not sure I agree with the whole title. I still think that feminism/modern women ARE a large part of this. I'm a gen X'er and meeting women face to face is the only way I've ever known to meet them. I don't care for new technology. I'm old school and men have been doing it that way since the dawn of time...until they invented laws. 😁 I have NO problem approaching women and I'm actually a vocalist with broadcast experience so I'm used to "drawing attention" by nature and my voice is deep. Women actually like that most because they compliment it. I recently escaped from a 2 year long ordeal with a "malignant narc" back in July of 23. As a reasonably assertive man, caution is at times warranted. There is truth in this message and maybe for some this is your most important message. In pretend world she doesn't have to see us.. but yeah, this hits the mark in our day to day decisions
