I really want them to give NPCs and enemies their own vehicles! Imaging wandering (what you think is) a barren planet and a then a Mad Max-style caravan of spacers ambush you?
There are mods for it. In one mod you need to do a spacewalk to repair your ship. But unfortunately these mods are not perfect. I think some have to switch collision off to achieve the effect. Bethesda should indeed include this in future updates.
At least for weapons, suits, helmets & packs you can add a "*" to the start of the item's name & they all appear first when you open your inventory. Scroll past before you start hitting "sell"!
as a QOL I'd like to see food and medical aid separated. That or add an option to use the medical items on the status effects screen to treat afflictions (bleeding, rad poison, etc..)
Yah the latter, I mean back in the Fo games you could hit X or Y on the tab, and you'd use either an Rad-away or Rad-X. So it def should be possible to have keys to "cure yourself" bit "more convenient", but the sorting of food and items in seperate would help for sure. I just open the section and then sort by weight, since most of the food items will weight more than the medicalitems.
@@amitansurkar1769 you can of course do that though, but I tend to be a "weapon hoarder" so my weapons is located on those keys ;) 50% weapon weight on gear is golden for players like me :P.
Id love to see passengers board and disembark instead of just magically appearing inside our ships on transport missions. ... Funny story, accepted a transport miners . I didn't realise I had colonist bounty, so as soon as we took off, the miners all attacked my crew 😂😂
Haha, that's awesome. I had forgotten about a mission board mission I had picked up and jump scared myself when two rando miners were in my living space hab.
Actually, you can see passengers board your ship, also once you land, exit the pilot seat and walk to the landing dock. You will see passengers exiting your ship, thanking you in the process.
I'm expecting lots of updates. Todd Howard has said they plan to support the game for several years. I don't expect to get as many updates as No Man's Sky but if we get half the content I'll be a happy man. I just hope Shattered Space is successful so Bethesda has the motivation to make this game better
The watch that Berrett gives you should be like the Pip-Boy in Fallout Games. Need to check status ? Raise your wrist and look at the watch. Need to check inventory ? Same as the other one. For the radio, i can see it being a device Sarah Morgan give you in the very first mission when you complete it. ... But don't you dare give us Astral Lounge music or i swear ...
Love this idea for the watch as a Pip Boy type gadget. Great call! I actually can’t think of the Astral Lounge music off the top of my head. Gotta go listen now…
The POI problem is the biggest problem in the game. Im quite surprised they havent acknowledged it yet or added even a few outposts since people sre so outspoken about it and its a glaring issue. With the land vehicle they announced it back in December, so they are ok with announcing things early. But weve heard nothing for POIs which doesn't fill me with hope. If they update it then it changes it from a 1- 2 year game to a 10 year game.
@@joker6558 Make the procedural generation system come up with a bunch of POIs, and then have Bethesda QA them for appropriateness and have them implemented into the game. I'm sure the procedural system is capable of that, alot of the assets are already made
@@MegaCMGaming okay, here is my counter argument. If all the POIs are procedurally generated, that strips a lot of the handcrafted elements out of the POIs to begin with and then it’s more like a no man’s sky, which I find the exploration in that game to be much less meaningful than Starfield. Honestly, I think what could help the POIs is randomizing the enemy placement. It would make each enemy encounter unique. There’s a mod called bedlam that does this, and it is a ton of fun. I’d highly recommend it. It makes the locations unique feeling because you can’t memorize where the enemies are, they can flank you, and overall it makes the encounters more tense.
@@joker6558 I see what you're saying, but running around the same templates with only enemy placement being the variant will get very old, fast imo. I understand you're saying the procedural system would neutralise handcrafted elements, but if these procedural creations are born from handcrafted assets, and just thrown into a mixer, this could keep things fresher than what we have currently.
That's your opinion tho, many people prefer the more human space, with alien creatures, than intelligent aliens.... Almost every space story game has that, and this isn't a fantasy game
I need space colony of my own and it can be done in starfield, i would like to have a close look on shattered space and then set the expectations for the next dlc , i want a heathfire like expansion so that i get be more involved in the world i want to adopt and do much more things like to make a family in my outpost or home
I agree. I'd love to land on a planet, or receive a distress call that's nothing more than a trap. I wish there was a "red alert" declaring inbound enemy ships rather than just chatter from an enemy and a red marker. Speaking of chatter, hearing companions talking all at once during a space battle, or constantly asking, "Do you need something, Captain?" needs to be dialed back. If there was that much rambling in a sci-fi movie you'd leave the theater for lack of understanding the dialogue...and NPC pathing and A.I. is still too brainless for such an elaborate game as this.
@@beepbooploot The same goes for group conversations. The heads don’t keep step with who’s speaking. Like you, I say these things as someone who only wants the absolute best for Starfield.
There is an industrial outpost sending a distress call which turns out to be a trap. It is a generic point of interest so you should be able to encounter it on different planets. Although it seems to be a bit rare comparing to relay stations, collapsed mines and others. Just explore, you will find it.
Oh, but about your last comment about claiming POIs for your outposts. You kinda can. If you walk to the edge of a POI and put down an outpost beacon but then swipe *really* quickly upon releasing the button, you can force the outpost into the restricted zone around the POI and then it erases the restricted zone entirely. Then you can delete that beacon, then walk up and put your outpost anywhere you want in the POI zone. I did this in my previous universe to build an outpost over a Civilian Outpost on Besel 3B. It was one of the ones with an outside vendor, so I was able to put cargo containers right by the vendor. So I had cargo links bringing in adaptive frames and sleeping bags on the floor. Sell a bunch of frames. Sleep for one hour. Sell again. In theory, my income could be 120K per hour if I had the patience. Unfortunately, this is glitching an already glitchy game so there are side effects. Terrain starts creeping back into the POI sometimes. You can put down containers and equipment to despawn some of the terrain, but eventually it seems like it will completely glitch away the trader or provisioner. It took a long time in my last game so I was able to use this setup to quick sell all my loot, but in my current universe, my Venus and Besel IIIB outposts lost their vendors after just a couple of cycles.
Just grab the inventory mod on creations, you can sell all . Good for clearing ship cargo misc list, as that builds up if you capture and sell a lot of ships like I do.
I'd really love if they could fix the follower AI where they don't stuck or left behind. The closer they could get to something static like the Lego games or Baldur's Gate 3, the better.
Turn the difficulty setting for environmental hazards down & voila. 👍 Personally I like it when there's a risk that a certain amount of environmental damage can get through. Nothing is perfect!
The problem with the space radio and the deep space events is they directly contradict lore. It is clearly established that intersystem communication is nearly zero. There could be radio within the populated systems, but there are only 11 (4 UC, 5 FC, Kryx, and Porrima) of those.
Hey! This is so awesome. I'm a big fan of your channel and all your Starfield content so pretty cool to know you've seen my stuff. Thanks so much for the kind words :)
Even something as simple as a reputation system would be great. I’d really like it if I’m walking around a Freestar planet in my SysDef uniform, and get some snide comments. Then, if I’m helpful, gain reputation with the faction. It would be like FNV, I guess. I liked the way they did that. Instead, I get Freestar Security thanking me for being Vanguard, while the Freestar officers in the Groundpounder mission can’t even acknowledge officially that UC helped them. Makes no sense.
I strongly agree with 2 and 3. The others are not so important to me. But the main feature I'm missing as planet landings like in No Man's Sky, the ability to fly over the planet surface and choose your landing spot for yourself.
@@derrickwoods2803 it would definitely make it better, i didn't say, it wouldn't, but most people will just prefer a 2 second fast travel loading screen instead of spending 30 seconds landing on a planet. This game has real gameplay in it that people wanna enjoy rather than spend time in landing and taking off.... Games like nms don't have anything to do in them apart from space travel and taking off and landing, so people spend time there, cause that's the only gameplay
I really really really want the grav jump fuel to have to be replenished before jumping again, as a survival option or whatever. It would just feel nice to me. It also could put you on a planet you normally wouldn’t land on so you can find resources to refuel
I love your long travel addition to the game. Would be cool to have a PA/intercom throughout ship that would notify you if a ship needed help or if you were being attacked so you can scramble to get back to pilot seat to battle it out.
Those are all a lot of great ideas. But I think, we, in the gaming community should continue to politely request, insist and clamor for flying your ship from space to a landing on the planet. That is just too cool a feature to leave out of Starfield. Someone please make a mod
My desired updates would be bug fixes bug fixes and bug fixes. I'm tired of my Outpost suddenly becoming instant game crash sites and quest lines breaking so that I have to go back a half hour in my saves to continue.
Fast / Slow travel would be class actually. Choosing between the two would be cool. For me, i would love to see more space based elements, kinda like Elite Dangerous. I love the Elite space bit.. but they did not do a brilliant job with on foot initially, I love the Starfield on foot bit, but would love to see more Space "Sim" elements. Would add loads to the game for me... Great vid as always, loving the content. Keep up the good work.
Hey! Good to hear from you :) I’ve never even tried Elite but it’s come up quite a bit on several video comment sections so I’ll have to check it out. Totally agree that more space based stuff to do would be amazing and just tie the whole SF experience together a bit better. Thanks so much!!
A lot of people talk about wanting an official Starfield radio, so I feel I must have been the only person who played FO4 and the radio drove me up a wall. It was always so repetitive and right in your face. I would be in a huge fight and have to listen to the DJ tell me the same news he already told me 100 times. Doesn't exactly set the mood. And if you turn it off then you're stuck with awkward silence. One thing Starfield does really well is have a soundtrack that truly enhances the game. I will be in a huge fight and the soundtrack isn't taking center stage, but making me feel like I'm in an epic movie. I actually turn sound effects down and music up in my settings because I enjoy what the music does for the game so much. But a lot of people like FO4 radio, so I will accept being the weird one.
This is an interesting perspective! I do really like the music in Starfield so it's not like no radio is a glaring absence. But that's a fair counter point to the radio system. I guess it would have to be a TON of recorded content to keep it fresh which is less practical for sure.
I know there are a lot of people out there just like me! I enjoy taking on the baddies in a POI (abandoned research stations, chem labs, etc.) and searching for the loot they had stashed there, but I'd also like the option, once that's all done and the area is safe, to take that over, and use it as an outpost for myself renaming and decorating it as I see fit. Even assigning crew to it. While we're on that subject, I'd also like to be able to assign people to player homes. In my mind, it's like giving them a breather after a hard fight or a long quest line.
I know a mod has already attempted this, but i would really wish Bethesda could implement interplanetary travel with random encounters dotted around the system. I dont mind that if affects lore, this can just be changed, the fun factor should always come first
The tech is there. I think the reason why the ultimately chose to forgo it is because they found it would get boring quickly and break up the action too much, and chose to focus their efforts on other stuff. Shame though, I still would have enjoyed it. I liked the video guy’s solution to it
I definitely believe that doing manual repairs on your ship is a must. It makes crafting parts on your ship, and space walks feel more engaging. Imagine surviving a dogfight only to later have multiple malfunctions occur from external damage, crafting the parts, you and possibly a companion leaving the inside of your ship to do repairs. It wouldn't be a major change, but it would add a little extra emergence to the game.
And now you made a few skills along with npcs such as ship technician and damage control crew obsolete :) not to mention, enemies can spawn while you are out repairing your ship. I don’t think many players would survive such scenario. Nice idea but there are consequences.
Travel in a Starsystem like Everspace 2 , Outpost for He3, to not ran out of gas(it is filling now with magic dust, jumping -full- jumping - full) ... and many more ....
i had serious performance problems when i played at release and was super bummed, but i been playing for a week now and its my zen now. i love this game
Interesting on the aliens! I kinda like how it's more grounded sci fi in Starfield but I'm sure there are a lot of players in your camp that wouldn't say no to some alien races to interact with and build out the universe.
I would like some of this game to resemble GTA Online. Not necessarily the multi-player portion but the economics. Imagine: 1. Economics: You could build a ship selling company to rival the other 4, a mining company, security, or any other business you can create. Then having to manage it on different planets. 2. Imerseive outpost development. Think Sim City. Development your outpost to a city, planet, government, military. Possible wars, etc. 3. Options to build complex space stations as a home but involves Economics and civilization along with your government, etc. 4. Coop or multilayer to an extent. Players can build an empire together and choices of both effect Economics and outcome. 5. Something that you have to work towards. Getting enough people at outpost allows you to expand your company or government. Building enough x allows y. Something that will keep you playing.
Atmospheric flight. That’s all I want. It’s the issue at the center of the game that all others orbit around. Things like melee movesets, kill cam shots, story, POIs, large space and surface engagements with large scale enemies, mechs, large cosmic events that you actually see in space flight that pull you to other locations in the system/galaxy, better quality mod system that runs more stable, radio, etc. These things can mostly be dealt with by mods, however I think BGS should make every attempt to make them part of the base vanilla game instead. But the one thing all these issues share, they live in a game that taps into the magic of spaceflight, but removes flight. Now I enjoy Starfield. I play it almost daily. And that’s why you can trust me when I say, it’s atmospheric flight that will turn SF from a meh game for many, to a freakin epic game that gets love as much or more than Skyrim. SF is a dope enough game, it deserves to fly. Catch a smile out there. o7
Yes! This would be huge. Like you, it's one of my main games and has been since the beginning of the summer. But this would be a big fix for anyone who bounced off the game in its current form. Thanks for sharing!
Give me more variety in ship modules; in particular, I want the ability to add more cockpits as "observation" modules with different internals, either crew stations or just seats to look out. Be really nice to have a ship with a cockpit at the front and a bridge up top. I also want more realistic layouts for the habs. The "mess hall" large modules have tables with seats for 24 people, but I can only have 8 crew and 6 passengers on my ship...
Also, let me take components off one ship and put them on another. If you know what you're doing, in the early mission "The Old Neighborhood," you can capture a Va'ruun ship higher level than yours. It's not well set up for general use, but it's got a better reactor than you can get for several levels. Let me strip ships for parts and assemble the best combination, it rewards you for taking on tough ships, especially early on.
More melee weapon options and more impactful weapon enhancements for them would give me a reason to roleplay a melee build. Also on the outpost topic, i feel like mods have very much brought the customization to life whereas there is obivously physical models for many of the decorations and buildings at POIs that look way cooler and could serve a lot of function for an outpost. Like what about barricades and walls to help with outpost defence? In fallout 4 I could build a compound that could fight off any force that attacked, fallout 76 has amazing decorations for bases that really makes it fun to make a place your own but i just feel like its very lack luster. Ship decorating was a blessing, but my outposts still feel pretty empty and too similar to one another. And last but certainly not least, every main story companion is some flavor of good guy. It would be great to have more companions with the same amount of banter and a personal story that have a dark side to them. So far only have two baddies through the crimson fleet and their story is pretty weak. Honestly think mathias is a total scrub and a waste of space and gwt him kicked out of the crimson fleet even if i plan to take them down lmao just really dont wanna see him succeed 😂 if you could give me like 3 gray area/absolutely bad companiona for a rpg pirate playthrough that would be much more immersive. And ffs let me place ladders and doors in ships it cant be that hard if modders got it done.
Bad or morally grey companions would be SWEET! That is definitely something I hope to see (maybe even in Shattered Space?). Thanks for watching and sharing the ideas!
They need to have 3rd person melee finisher moves and stealth kill finisher moves. Skyrim and Fallout had it and I was so disappointed they didn't have it.
Most loading screens I'm fine with, but Neon... Plus Cyberpunk has shown how to stream large areas. A log book would be my #1 feature. 1000 planets and no way to track it?
I don't think cyberpunk could handle 10% of Neon. Youre not just streaming large areas but large number of physical objects that need to be a precise location, even though you can move them, without the game getting hiccups and causing npc to ruin the environment
I'd love a search bar feature. I have so much crap in my inventory and it takes me forever to scroll down. Also PLEASE enlarge the scroll bar to be easier to click on.
Mod idea: flesh out faction roles. Ie: Akila transport vessel distress call. We show up and have to battle spacers attacking vessel. Boss fight would be docking with Akila transport and boarding after spacer boss and his takeover crew are already onboard. Take them out and save the crew. Btw, there is a mission similar to this already but it’s one and done. Or maybe storm ship under a capture not kill order etc.
Yeah, love this! And I did ignore mods for this video but you make a good point that mods unlock so much potential without having to wait for Bethesda to add stuff :)
I would like if players could build Interior walls and windows. like in the homesteads or bases we see in other outpost. Like the ones pirates have and maybe platforms like the one I see at civilian outpost.
We 100% need more varied and immersive POIs I stoped playing because of that exact reason also more unique companions would be a bonus since the game feels empty a lot of the time
Totally agree and understand this being a sticking point for a lot of players. I think the player base would expand a lot with a POI update so hope to see this at some point!
I'm pretty sure in SF lore faster than light communication is not a thing so a radio like device to communicate with someone whos on a different system would not be possible
i would like to see a drop down menu in the galaxy's page to say where my outposts are so i can track them down easer after being away from the game for a bit. the same with player houses. i love the dream home but i can never remember where to find it so having some way to track these without mods would be great. sorry for the bad English its something that I'm working on
1. Interesting open world regions… That’s IT. That’s all they needed. And they completely fucked that up. Imagine every major settlement in the game had a playable space like Dazra. I’m baffled that it took them a full year to release shattered space, also. That is a couple months work at best. No wonder MS were having “talks” with the folks at Bethesda, trying to get them to expedite their development process.
Really enjoy Starfield, but I do have a specific complaint about "immersion" when you are in NG+ gameplay. In short, you show up to the Lodge in Starborn armour, having just landed your utterly unique Starborn ship... and every is just cool with that. It shouldn't be that easy.
@beepbooploot it is especially noticeable at the end of "All that money can buy" when Constellation meets a Starborn ship 'for the first time' .... meanwhile, your Starborn ship is sitting either out in the open or in your inventory. Then they are all around a table at the Lodge wondering "what a mysterious ship"... [insert SideEyeMonkey.jpg]. Barring a major rewrite of the main quest line, the game could at least try to make sure that if you go to the Lodge dressed as Starborn you fail (or need a hard Persuasion Check) in order to restart the Main Quest set of missions.
For 3rd point it would be much better if they all us to buy or build starships and start to hire npcs so you can start busines like making ships and sell them or weapons, space-suits and they make it better and easy to get into not ass one
Good call! I wonder if it's just because they want you to have to interact with the Cargo Link system? Agree that unlimited storage would be awesome at outposts (or at least an easier way to create larger inventory limits at your outposts).
To have more storage you need resources. That means more planning, traveling, exploring, base building. Having a single unlimited storage, similar to the lodge box, defeats the purpose of many of those. The container linking is just a helpful way to fill up containers that are stacked on top of each other to form very tall towers. You could place two-stories of containers as long rows for easy access, but then you clutter up your base. Building upwards saves you the outpost space.
Good top 5 there. for #2 there is a mod called random dungeon (or something like that) that puts the enemies in random positions. greatly changes the same POIs, though pity they have the same layout, they should have made them from modules and randomise them. Also a mod to add about 60 more poi's to the system which are cool. As for outpost -- I followed your guide ages ago, built an outpost which makes frames... then... erm forgot about it - no idea what I going to do with 5 storage units of frames. and tbh don't really care about them. Don't see the point of outposts.
Oh nice. Definitely gotta check out the random dungeon mod then! As for Outposts, I feel ya there. I still love tinkering with outposts but totally understand if it doesn’t feel like there’s a point!
Point 1 and 2 are my main issues with starfield! I deerly wish procedural generated dungeons and outposts this is the main reason i stopped exploring and eventually playing and the mechanics are all lose and shallow give them more depth and connect them. as example let me gather the ressources for those missions and transport them with my own ship that i have to build and on the way maybe there are some pirates to fend off or get contracts with shipbuilding fabrics to bring them stuff and i get a discount on thier parts Starfield plays in deep space morelike shallow space let me fly my ship and not just jump infront of a place. i don't need to land just let me fly from a to b we have different suits with different stats that are mostly useless, you get ill and sick doesn't matter, give players the option to make it survival also with fuel in your ship or food and drinks
4: i prefer localised CB radio communications. Doesn't exist for those on planet. Does exist between ships and stations. For example: i have a friendly civilian outpost i like to visit. Sometime later its obliterated by spacer scum, everyone is dead.
Cool! That could work still I think. Just something to allow communication from your ship/on planet without having to always go back to NPCs if you don't want to!
Honestly as dumb as this seems id like to see more stuff to do with outposts. The ability to expand populations at outposts so we can make them more like the settlements in Fallout 4 something to tie in to the L.I.S.T where we can build small little towns on the planets we put outposts on. Hadnt got to #1 yet and honestly give sim settlements 2 a try that mod is insanely good with its own voiced over storyline that goes along the main quest
I disagree with a good bit of that. They need to add another 15-20 POIs to the pool. I don't mean 20 like the cracked mine where there are two dead miners and a crevice in the ground. I mean 20 like abandoned relay station, or deserted Ecliptic garrison. Ones like those. Sorry cannot remember exact names. That would spread out the times you see the same ones we have already. Also I have only seen two occasions something new happens. One is a trap set by pirates. It comes in the form of an SOS message as you arrive in the area. I forget the other but Starfield lacks situations like that. You know your walk or drive to same POI, you are not going to see or hear anything new or interesting. Yes space is empty here now. Would it be so much in Starfield? The one crashed spaceship is a long way and has nothing worth it for loot. We should find debris, dead people with notes leading us to something, or a story, or mission. I play it a good bit, now getting ready for Shattered space. But I'm just scanning planets and don't go to the same POIs at all. Yes randomizing would help in larger places, but only so much.
Appreciate this perspective! I’m totally open to this too. I guess I’d just worry that once you’ve seen the 20 new, then you’re done. If you paired the 20 new POIs with a better randomizer for the proc gen, I think that would be perfect!
I wish they’d add a discovery page so bad. Sadly I saw the other day a paid mod has already done this. So there’s really no hope of it coming to the game. Why would they spend the time and resources making a discovery tab when a modder did it for them and now them and the modder are making money.
Only #5 is interesting, but not crucial. #4 radio system is anti-lore, fan should know that, #3 long travel between planets? Is this really more engaging than shooting enemies or asteroids? Srsly? #3 procedural generation won't make POIs less repetitive. Just trust me on this. If someone hates the current system it won't make him love the new one. #1 why building outposts? Why playing the game at all? Outposts are an option the same as spaceship building. Why forcing anyone to build outposts if they want questing and looting? My suggestion is the reputation system for all factions that could be improved with board quests. Quests with link creation are not worth doing at all, the reward is just a joke. Reputation could give access to rarer items at special vendors.
Extra comment: we aren’t getting anything else for free. Bethesda are not that kind of company (which is CRAZY). They are a very MTX heavy company (creations), I mean they’re selling us virtual fucking plushies for like £8. Shattered space has , by all accounts, been a complete flop. They refused to hand out review codes to anybody, which is always unprofessional. People forget that Skyrim came out 13 years ago… I’m sorry but they’re simply not the same company. This game proves the lack of this studios ability and the amount of sycophantic people that hover around Todd and his dated ideas. Starfield should have been a home run. 2 galaxys of hub worlds and curated content. The whole 1000 planet idea is such a 2010s pipe dream. This game proves that Bethesda Softworks are refusing to adapt to the times. Just a reminder, Shattered Space is the same price as Phantom Liberty and Shadow of the Erdtree… now compare your value for money.
@beepbooploot I speak as a modder who exclusively does navmesh. Unless bethesda bakes navmesh into the procedural generation that I'm unaware of or does some tricks like followers following YOUR movement along the plane, it's not possible. I tried making a mod that spawned npcs in the tile as an event similar to ships landing, but I had to designate a site for them to do that in I couldn't figure out how to do it in a random way, I played around with stuff and got npcs to spawn 300m away from the player without a designated "drop zone" but they just stood there and even one guy spun around in circles. I then tried to create an event similar to how bounty hunters land and attack you, but even then I couldn't figure out how to do this without a ship landing event, again they didn't leave the Landing zone. I tried making two very simple POI with a house in each, then have npc move between them about 1km, but they just walked in a straight line and when they came to a big rock, they just stood there not knowing what to do, I then tried to create a walk path for them, but im afraid it has to be done manually, it's never dynamic, and npcs in starfield do not know where to move unless manually configured to do so.. as I said unless bethesda makes a change and bakes some sort of procedural navmesh Into the engine, it's just not possible, or at least it's very very hard to do. Not even sure even if it's possible, if it could be put on creations as it would require additional scripts that cannot be processed on bethnet.
@@beepbooploot grr, I hate this, youtube isn't processing my comments, I must've replied 4 times now. I give up. I said unless bethesda bakes procedural navmesh Into the engine, "roaming" npcs just aren't possible.

So much potential, for sure. Fingers crossed they continue work on it!
To be fair no radio kinda makes sense since your ship travels through space faster that radio waves.
Very true! I would be cool with the logic break here but understand if that’s an issue for others.
These are great ideas. I would love to see a simple lock feature. So you can lock your favourite inventory items so you can't accidentally sell them.

@@BribedSeeker904 never seen them outside. Have seen them on my ship, they attacked my crew once ;)
I'm expecting lots of updates. Todd Howard has said they plan to support the game for several years. I don't expect to get as many updates as No Man's Sky but if we get half the content I'll be a happy man. I just hope Shattered Space is successful so Bethesda has the motivation to make this game better
Agreed! Todd is talking like there’s a lot in the pipe. Hope it turns out to be true!!
How would you change the POI system?
Very excited to see what they can do here. Cautiously optimistic! Hoping they have a few tricks up their sleeve but time will tell.
I agree with all of this, but no mention of sentient alien sex orgies really lost me.
Mass effect really nailed this 😂
It was #6 on my list. You gotta make some tough calls but that’s show business baby!
@@beepbooploot saved!
That's your opinion tho, many people prefer the more human space, with alien creatures, than intelligent aliens.... Almost every space story game has that, and this isn't a fantasy game
@@amitansurkar1769 sentient aliens are only fantasy because we havent discovered them yet ;)
I need space colony of my own and it can be done in starfield, i would like to have a close look on shattered space and then set the expectations for the next dlc , i want a heathfire like expansion so that i get be more involved in the world i want to adopt and do much more things like to make a family in my outpost or home
This is definitely in the category of updates I'd love to see. More immersive ways to just exist in the world. Thanks for sharing :)
@@beepbooploot spread the word
All great call outs! Totally agree it would be nice to be able to change the frequency of NPC companion dialogue.
Only feature I need: Sell all junk.
Junk mass sell is a great call. Thanks for the tip below on claiming a POI also :)
Just grab the inventory mod on creations, you can sell all . Good for clearing ship cargo misc list, as that builds up if you capture and sell a lot of ships like I do.
@@professorhelmling6059holy crap, for real?
Why younare collecting all this useless crap anyway?
I'd really love if they could fix the follower AI where they don't stuck or left behind. The closer they could get to something static like the Lego games or Baldur's Gate 3, the better.
That’s a good call! Didn’t think about this one. Thanks for sharing :)
Starfield need his hazards reworked - what are suits for when you get lung damage in a sandstorm
Fair point! Could probably use a bit of a refresh now that you mention.
@brunoB1980 or you wear a suit with 50 for every type of damage, and 2 seconds after you leave your ship, you've got frostbite
Turn the difficulty setting for environmental hazards down & voila. 👍
Personally I like it when there's a risk that a certain amount of environmental damage can get through. Nothing is perfect!
The problem with the space radio and the deep space events is they directly contradict lore. It is clearly established that intersystem communication is nearly zero. There could be radio within the populated systems, but there are only 11 (4 UC, 5 FC, Kryx, and Porrima) of those.
Could also have radio outposts spawn randomly as well. Heck, there is a radio tower PoI in game already which can randomly spawn.
That's fair! I'd still love to see it but I guess that does pose a bit of a problem.
You make great content bro keep it up!
Good call! More ways for the world to react to what you choose to rep would be awesome. And just another fun thing to grind also.
I strongly agree with 2 and 3. The others are not so important to me. But the main feature I'm missing as planet landings like in No Man's Sky, the ability to fly over the planet surface and choose your landing spot for yourself.
People will just fast travel after 5 tries, that kinda gets boring after a while, then you just wanna play the game, not endlessly fly around
@@amitansurkar1769I disagree I think landings would make it so much better
@@derrickwoods2803 it would definitely make it better, i didn't say, it wouldn't, but most people will just prefer a 2 second fast travel loading screen instead of spending 30 seconds landing on a planet. This game has real gameplay in it that people wanna enjoy rather than spend time in landing and taking off.... Games like nms don't have anything to do in them apart from space travel and taking off and landing, so people spend time there, cause that's the only gameplay
Landing on planet would be great! One of my favourite NMS features for sure. Honestly never gets old for me :)
I really really really want the grav jump fuel to have to be replenished before jumping again, as a survival option or whatever. It would just feel nice to me. It also could put you on a planet you normally wouldn’t land on so you can find resources to refuel
Great option for more immersion as you’re travelling. Thanks for sharing!
I love your long travel addition to the game. Would be cool to have a PA/intercom throughout ship that would notify you if a ship needed help or if you were being attacked so you can scramble to get back to pilot seat to battle it out.
Love it! The PA would be sweet and add some neat little cinematic moments to random travel!
Those are all a lot of great ideas. But I think, we, in the gaming community should continue to politely request, insist and clamor for flying your ship from space to a landing on the planet. That is just too cool a feature to leave out of Starfield. Someone please make a mod
Good call! I would love to see this implemented as well. Probably should have made my list honestly lol. Thanks for mentioning!
My desired updates would be bug fixes bug fixes and bug fixes. I'm tired of my Outpost suddenly becoming instant game crash sites and quest lines breaking so that I have to go back a half hour in my saves to continue.
Dang. Sorry to hear about the bugs! I've been pretty lucky in my playtime but this should definitely be a priority for updating!
Reclaiming/taking over POIs would be great! I agree :) As for assigning crew to homes, that totally makes sense too. Thanks for sharing!
I liked the video guy’s solution to it
Yes, definitely a conflict with lore but agree. For me, fun first then logic (within reason lol).
I’m totally with you. I would LOVE this. And it isn’t huge, you’re right. But it really would make it more immersive in the best way!
Thanks for watching and sharing your ideas!
i had serious performance problems when i played at release and was super bummed, but i been playing for a week now and its my zen now. i love this game
Nothing worse than performance stopping you from enjoying! Glad it’s better now though. It’s an awesome relax after work game :)
1. Other sentient alien races (with diplomatic option quests, combat option quests etc), 2. Clean up, fix, enhance the skill trees.
Imagine:
Love all of this! A bit of business sim in the game would be awesome and, to your point, give you something to work towards longer term!
@beepbooploot Exactly.
Great suggestions. I do love looking out the windows of my ships so an observation module would be sweet!
So true! A bank of parts/scrapyard would make claiming ships quite a bit more rewarding.
Yeah that’s a weird miss in SF for sure. Good call!
Just watched this again, 2 and 3 are definitely my two biggest wishes for the game also!
Nice! Always good to know that I’m not way off with these :) thanks for watching!
Oooh, I love this long travel idea.
Would be awesome I think!
Most loading screens I'm fine with, but Neon... Plus Cyberpunk has shown how to stream large areas. A log book would be my #1 feature. 1000 planets and no way to track it?
Log Book would be so great, agreed!
Search bar would be amazing! Especially sorting the aid items!!
I agree with everything great video 👍
Thanks so much! Hope you enjoyed and appreciate you watching :)
Yes, additional building parts would be awesome!!
Yes, that’s true! But I wouldn’t mind the immersion/logic break if it meant radio could be added.
i would like to see a drop down menu in the galaxy's page to say where my outposts are so i can track them down easer after being away from the game for a bit. the same with player houses. i love the dream home but i can never remember where to find it so having some way to track these without mods would be great. sorry for the bad English its something that I'm working on
No worries. Your English is great :) it can be hard to track down all of your bases for sure. This would be a great feature!
The big problem with a radio is, how is it sending instant communication between star systems?
It hurts realism but could be a great QOL if we ignored that lol
@@beepbooploot it's what EVERYONE wants. Screw realism.
1. Interesting open world regions…
That’s IT.
Very curious to see what’s next for Starfield. A few more cities/tiles like Dazra could definitely help with this ask!
Really enjoy Starfield, but I do have a specific complaint about "immersion" when you are in NG+ gameplay. In short, you show up to the Lodge in Starborn armour, having just landed your utterly unique Starborn ship... and every is just cool with that. It shouldn't be that easy.
lol, that’s actually a really good point. A bit of an immersion breaker for sure. This should definitely be a bigger deal…right?!
That’s cool! Factories/build your own line of ships would be awesome.
@@beepbooploot Good fun and content that would keep players interested in progressing it and farm it for a while
Unlimited storage at outposts. There must be a technical reason why this isn’t a thing or they just want you to use the linking mechanic.
Building upwards saves you the outpost space.
ur point 3 is very easily implementable...most of the systems are already ingame , bgs just has to implement it
Patiently waiting! ☺️
There is a lot to do in space. So many random encounters, derelict ships, abandoned staryards. Try exploring the space more.
One unique dungeon per system.
Love that idea! Great reason to have to explore all the systems.
I deerly wish procedural generated dungeons and outposts this is the main reason i stopped exploring and eventually playing
and the mechanics are all lose and shallow give them more depth and connect them. as example let me gather the ressources for those missions and transport them with my own ship that i have to build and on the way maybe there are some pirates to fend off or get contracts with shipbuilding fabrics to bring them stuff and i get a discount on thier parts
Starfield plays in deep space morelike shallow space let me fly my ship and not just jump infront of a place. i don't need to land just let me fly from a to b
we have different suits with different stats that are mostly useless, you get ill and sick doesn't matter, give players the option to make it survival also with fuel in your ship or food and drinks
We are on the same wavelength for sure here!
5: so 3d replicas of systems planets & moons as decroative items sold by locals.
This would be very cool. Anything additional to decorate with that makes sense in the Starfield universe sounds great!
Oh nice! I didn’t realize there was a quest/voice acting in it. Definitely going to give that a go!
@@beepbooploot its sim settlements 2 not 1 thats voice acted just do you mind a couple pointers? ill try to keep it spoiler free
That's an interesting point! That makes sense now that I think about it. Still hoping to see it in the base game at some point though.
@@beepbooploot I mean I’ll still hold out hope. I just don’t have much hope lol
Totally understand if my ideas don’t vibe with ya. Love the faction rep update idea!
Doors for outpost habs.
Yes! Totally agree. I just want a little cabin by the ocean :)

Appreciate your perspective here!
The biggest issue no one talks about is that NPCs cannot exist anywhere other than POI's because its impossible. Theres no navmesh in the tiles.
Oh good call! Didn't know about this. NPCs outside of POIs would definitely help the planets feel more lived in (lived on?).
Such copium!! 😂
