Thank you for not using a calculator. It's been years since I've done long division with decimals and I totally forgot about moving the decimal in the divisors. I also appreciated that you spoke slowly . For those of us who struggle with math it's a great help when it's taught at a slower pace. This was very thorough. Thank you. 🙂
Ohh😢 that's so sad. I wish I could help you. Our grades might be different but I still want to help. But don't give up👍 revise it slowly and ask other people to help you with the hard ones. You can do it. I believe in you💟👍
Look slow down the video pause if needed to think stop saying you can't do it everyone has the potential to do it unless they have issues and that's not their fault but u are not born smart you are built to become smart if you actually use your head and clear it and then take the information and understand it
Steps of my problem: - 250 ft^3 is the volume - Diameter is 8 ft - Radius is 4 ft I took the formula for volume (V=πR^2) and replaced the V with my given volume, 250 ft. Then I plugged in Pi and the radius, 250=(3.14)x(4)^2h. Then I simplified it to get 250=(3.14)x(16)h and then simplified it once more to get 250=50.24h. I then i divided the volume (250) by 50.24 as well as 50.24h by 50.24, to be left with the variable of h (height). I got the final answer of 4.9761146497 and I simplified that to 4.97 ft. for height. If you wanna be _really_ specific, you can also round up to 5.
I live in a French province in Canada and a lot of the Math teachers here are confusing cause it's all in French so this video helped a lot since I'm more Anglophone than Francophone
Thank you so much for publishing this video. You made it very clear and very easy to understand when I had problems hearing it from my teacher. I could not comprehend how to do this when it was coming from my teacher.
This video helped me a lot because I forgot how to do this while we are in quarantine!! I use Get More Math and I needed to know how to do this. Thank you
Thank-You so much sir! I had to find the height with the diametre and the volume, and I did what you did,(but divided the diametre by 2) and it helped a lot! Thank-You!!!
it should not take someone that is teaching this subject 6 minuets to solve this, this is why we need calculators, not because we are lazy, but only because it takes 6 minuets if you don't use one
am so sure if this guy was a teacher his students will comment on other math youtubers videos"my math teacher couldnt teach me this in 2hrs but u did in 6' smh its u ppl that dont pay attention in class
can anyone tell me if this sounds right? I Have a cylinder with a 5cm (2") radius, the cubic centimeters is 147.87 (approx. 5 fluid oz), and the height I got is 1.88 cm, did i do this equation right?
No, you would need the radius length as well, unless there is a 2nd cylinder in a word problem that you had to set up a system of equations or something like that. But in general, with any equation, you have to know the value of all variables except for one you are solving for.

If a cylindrical tin has a radius of 7cm . What is the shortest length of the string that can be wound once round the tin
thank u so much this helped a lot
You're welcome!
I owe my awesome finals grade to you and Brian McLogan
Happy to have helped! 😊
:D

You're very welcome!
Thanks a lot this video really helps me .
Thank you so much you helped me with my homework :)

what do i do if I am given the diameter, length, and mass of a cylinder?
How can u find the height when only the SA is given?
Thanks this helped me so much
You are welcome Brandon!
Thanks it really helped
You explained it wery good. Now I can do it on my own.🙂
Glad I could help!
Thankyouuuu so much
You are sooo welcome!
Thanks for your help
can i ask about. what if the height and radius are not given but the volume si 59.45 sq. m
?? ty
This WORKS!!!!!
What to do if volume is not given
thanks for clearing that up! It's easier with a calculator btw
Ayeeee what’s good brother Denny
I noticed a lot of unnecessary work in this video that just confused me but dw mrmaisonet I figured out ur weird way of doing math
YOU ARE AWESOME AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
thank you
it should not take someone that is teaching this subject 6 minuets to solve this, this is why we need calculators, not because we are lazy, but only because it takes 6 minuets if you don't use one
But I just need the formula I don’t have time to watch all of this I am in a big rush :(
This is going to be great movie. Wow. I am going to see it
Thanks I think it helping me till doing ma work

why dont you use the units then all of a sudden you put cm unit at the end.... what happens to the cm^3
can anyone tell me if this sounds right?

Versipellis the rogue Changeling it's 1.87
What if the given volume is a fraction?
Why did you substitute it with 3.14
How did you get the 3.14?
thats the number of pi
How to find the dimension of the cylinder
What if pu have the surface area not the volume
a math video getting 180,761 views? Is that possible
3:57 5:52
3.14 x 16 = 50.24 take the volume 602.88 and dived 50.24 and that is 12 your height
how to get it without volume
is it possible to find the height with only the volume?
No, you would need the radius length as well, unless there is a 2nd cylinder in a word problem that you had to set up a system of equations or something like that. But in general, with any equation, you have to know the value of all variables except for one you are solving for.
Thanks but you really stretched the video. Like as far as possible
If radius is given 25 and volume is given 195 how to findout tha height plzz any one dear 🙄
the method looks simple but maths is not easy😢
Hang in there! Math is like a language, it takes many years to learn how to speak it.
use a calculator my gosh
Msp Glam4evas you're an idiot 2 years ago...hope you're still idiot this year.
