    The torque spec is 12.5 ft/lbs

    I have a feeling i cracked the tread piece trying to torque it. I left it alone for now. Its not leaking. Its better to just tighten it regular and not risk the torque.

      Yes, it certainly was the oil pressure switch. The codes never came back after replacing it.

    You should have used a slither of Teflon tape instead of gasket maker

    Do you have to replace the Oil Pressure Switch AND the VVT?
    Or just one or the other?

      Just the oil pressure switch

    I got 2010 subaru forester and I got one locked out my awd so if I replace both would it give me and back and tractioncontrol light off the dash

      This should not have anything to do with the AWD system. What is the fault code?

      @RichardCampbell-pm4fx that would be related to your valve body inside the transmission. You can replace the solenoids, but I'd just get a new valve body or a used transmission from a junkyard.

      First start is not bad, but once the car warms up it should be 650-800.

    Sudrau GJ is cranking but not starting. Wants to sound like the timing belt has bust but its not. What's your sugestion or can you help solve the starting problem?

    • @Nashharis8758
      @Nashharis8758  ปีที่แล้ว

      Start with checking if you're getting a spark by removing the spark plugs and testing it with the spark tool. If the spark is good, then move on to fuel, could be a bad fuel pump. If those tow check out good. It could be your crankshaft sensor.

    Absolutely no reason to remove the air cleaner. EZPZ to access it with a long 24mm socket.
