I like the way you explain things. I'm definitely going to use the dropping sticks from the same and different heights to explain flams - maybe throw in a reference to Galileo dropping those stones off of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, because I'm actually teaching a high school band drumline here in Canada. Many thanks!
Awesome man! Heard good things about the book. I learned Crazy Army in music college and that was flam heavy! I can probably still remember it. That a pic of you at Drumeo?

Hello there!
Very informative! Thank you for posting it.
You are very welcome!
Good point on height distance. How I was taught & teach/play it. Love the stick control exercises
Nice man. Wish I was taught it like this! Yeah one of the few uses I have for SC lol
Another good one Dave! I thought I was a good “flammer” until I got the Gaddiments book. It’s FULL of flams! I’m now a CLAMMER! 🤣 Cheers mate!
Great book 📖
Excellent Dave. I love flams and I am working on them furiously in the new "Steve Gadd" book "Gadiments" Great lesson mate. Thanks.

You are welcome!
Nice video, why you play on practice pad you hold the drumsticks on a balance point, but when you play on drums you grip the sticks on the butt end?
Bad habit tbh. It should be exactly the same
put them in time. no rhythm, no music.
