In the Railway Budget of 2016-17, Railway Minister Proposed a railway project named "Mission Rail Raftaar" to increase the speed of Freight as well as a Passenger train in the Indian railway's network.
To start With Ministry of Railways opted for two routes Delhi - Mumbai & Delhi Kolkata with the aim to make train speed up to 160 KMPH. talk about how To increase speed of trains in Indian railways by various methods like building flyovers fencing good signalling system Replacing passenger trains by MEMU trains making separate lines three to four lines tracks for trains.
