No matter how many times we've played this game, we forget to collect gold when completing a row. We solved it by placing a gold coin on the third dice square when the game starts. No more forgetting … :)
That was a lot of fun! I like how Rodney's character eventually became Mickey Mouse.
Ha! Rodo mellowed a bit as time went on :)
You have to love a game in which it is more important to go into battle with coordinated clothes than to have the best armor.
Very enjoyable series. Looking forward to the next game.
It was a real joy to watch this playthrough, not only entertaining, but a good way to learn the game too.
I became aware of this game two years ago, but elected not to get it. Now, I am not so sure. After playing D&D during covid, it now seems much more interesting to me.

at 5:11, I would have for sure used the Dexterity ability to swap the Yellow 1 in DEX with the yellow 6 in WIS for the guaranteed 3 VP.
I can always try to flip the yellow 1 in WIS later to get the 2 points in WIS.
That's true! They are both worth points, but DEX is more, so that would have been a good move!
Aww darn I was betting on Rodney to win. Would be nice to see a playthrough of other 2 player games like Raptor for example. Great job as usual :D

Thanks for the awesome play series. I've been wanting to play this, and I might just have to pick it up now. Have you guys had a chance to look at Roll Player: Monsters & Minions at all? I hear it offers a good move in game mechanics to give a bit more breadth which is what a lot of people have told me that this game needs after you play it a few times.
I haven't played the expansion yet, but have heard good things too - did you end up trying it?

At 5:41, when Thok pickpockets he could of waited until after the shop phase at 7:01 to regain the alignment, correct?
He definitely could have! We got into a pattern of activating skills during our turn, but you can activate them anytime!

In the scoring for the ORC how did he reach the rogue goal of 16 in STR with a 4 and a 4 and a 6?
Thats 14 and then plus 1 for the yellow = 15?
Don't forget the +2 STR modifier on that line (you'll see it just to the right of the last die in the row).

Could Pep/Thokk have chosen to use the Concentrate skill card to move his alignment down as per the icon on the card (even though, as a rogue, he's not required to) and use a different attribute action instead?
It might be difficult to see at a distance, but Concentrate actually moves to the left, not down. But even though he's a rogue, he can choose to let his skills move his alignment if he wishes.

Im confused isnt the bonus point for armor of your color given for completing the set?
Any number of armor from the same type counts as a set for scoring points. So even if I only have 4 out of the 5 possible cards from the chain set, I will still get the 1 point for it being my color. That example is taken right from the rulebook as well. It's important to note that you don't get a point for each of the armor pieces, just for the set.

Since part 2, Rodney's halfling sounds like Mickey mouse.
I kept thinking, "I'm not a very good person for thinking Thok sounds like a swear word every single time it's spoken out loud". But then you went and said, "Thok you," right at the very end. So now YOU get to be the bad person. Ah-ha! Too bad.
He was saying "Thank you" at the end there. I think... Pep!
