Great kit, good tips! I'd recommend to be cautious of your trauma shears - mine poked through the bottom of the kit. Thankfully a replacement was provided and this time I've cut a piece of garden hose to encase the pointed end of the trauma shears and protect the pouch.
I just started carrying tourniquets one on my war poet edc belt and one in the truck and the other on my plate carrier. I don’t know why it took me so long to start carrying these but glad I have them now.
This is an old video, I'm guessing its been edited and updated so there was some carryover. At least I think its old. I think I've seen most of this already.
Gotta have the ear plugs because you don’t use the can on your home defense carbine, right??? 🤣🤣🤣 (Sorry, John, I just had to say it and open that can of worms again! 🤣🤣🤣)
I purchased this item and was surprised to discover that neither the Combat Gauze nor the Hyfin chest seals that are shown in this video are NOT included.
MEDICAL CONTENTS The Ankle EDC Medical Kit has been designed to eliminate unnecessary bulk by spreading it out evenly around the ankle. The North American Medical (NAR) components have been selected down to just the essentials. The pouches were sized specifically for these components. Working from left to right as you are looking at an unworn kit: Vertical Pocket 1: NAR gauze and a Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA) size 28 Vertical Pocket 2: NAR Responder 4” Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD) Vertical Pocket 3: Trauma Shears and room for a multi-tool (multi-tool not included) Vertical Pocket 4: CAT tourniquet, and sterile nitrile gloves and room for a decompression needle (decompression needle not included) 2 Horizontal Pockets: empty
I like the ankle kit, but the material is abrasive. The ankle kit has essentially cut through several shoe laces, and depending on the footwear, it has worn through boots and sneakers. It's not the end of the world, but I wouldn't object to seeing a different material option for these.
So I predominantly wear shorts since I work in a factory and today the humidity is 89%. What would you recommend? Belt mounted trauma kit? Or just look like a nerd and wear the ankle with shorts? Love the content.
Is there a size range for this? I have actual calves and ankles and bought the Dark Angel one that must have been made for guys who skip leg day. have to stretch it to the max to get it on and it is wayyyy too tight at that point.
Doubt it if you're a cowboy with normal manly legs. I have chicken legs and can prolly pull it off. Also, I doubt you could wear it with boot cut jeans, but prolly with standard jeans.
Here in Texas I wear mine with cowboy boots and some bedazzled short cutoffs. 🤣😂😆 sorry, late joke.. it is July and pride month is over! God bless y'all and stay safe.
Thank you for your effort. Yep, carrying medical supplies are a must for me. Oops is a word we never want to hear, but it is said from time to time.
Love this thing. So comfortable. I wear it every day.
There's no link attached, FYI. But easy to find on your site and other's as well.

Deciding upon either the Glock 17 or 34 carrying a hunting sidearm. I Crossbow hunt.
Do I need a longer barrel?
Been carrying mine for about a year. I don't even notice it's there. Pretty awesome.
Some comments are from 2 years ago wtf

It was unlisted; linked from their website on the ankle med kit page
Is this in your shop? I want to order it and email in to say I didnt get it because it came in 2 boxes. Gotta love doing that. Haha.
I also carry this every day, really holds up well.

OneShear makes the perfect compact shear for this kit.
Where’s the link man?
But what do you do when you wear shorts 350/365 days a year?

Might can pad the bottom with softer material to absorb any contact.
Good stuff. I need to check out your ankle kits.
FSA / HSA ?

how small of an ankle is the minimum
John, is it possible anytime in the near future that you will share your current strength and cardio routine? Thanks, Keep up the great work.

Love mine, I use the H&H mini compression bandage instead of the 4 inch etd. Gives me compression and is very low profile
Ummm… how aboot utilizing two in order to distribute the weight, and even add a couple additional items.
Can't find the link, may i get notified once you post the link pkease? Thank you so much.
What lockpicking set do you recommend?
Sparrows
Called out in the first few seconds! I'm at peace with my nerdy
How do I see it in action? Meaning being worn.
Can you wear this in cowboy boots?

Love the concept but what would be recommended for someone who almost always is in shorts?
I’ve carried a small kit in cargo short pockets but if those aren’t your thing IDK 🤷🏼♂️ 😂
I just ordered mine!
