- Hello Parrot lovers, can you believe the attitude of this bird?! My poor Ringneck Parakeet, "Blu" tries to kiss my angry sassy Mustache parakeet, "Brando" and she rejects his love!

I am so glad you adopted Blue. He is one of the sweetest birds I’ve seen. I think he’s good for Brando. She’s a sassy-sweet-bratty-cutie. I remember the day you brought her home. Who would’ve known she would’ve become a couch warrior who rebuffs the affections of beautiful blue?♥

For those of us who have known Brando since she was a baby, she pretty much is always having an off day, but Marlene loves her in spite of it.
Brando the drama girl. Love the eye zoom. Really get to see things. Marlene go get yourself a male mustache. There’s a vacant spot and you sooo deserve it. No one deserves a bird that attracts them more than you guys!! You have done so much to help us understand birds so we can give them better homes.🙂

Kipper, my 16 year old quaker parrot, is going through his molting season, and he's extra spicy right now! Needless to say, I can't even get him out of his cage!
My Superb Parrot is like that with my ringneck. My ringneck wants to be buds with him and he just tries to bite him. I feel so bad for him cuz he tries so hard 😢
I find that Ringnecks tend to socialize well with all kinds of birds.

She is a Moustached Parakeet
She's a moustache parakeet I believe. Marlene named her Brando before she brought her home as a baby, and Marlene decided to stick with the name.
Don't be angry with me, but Brando is looking pretty crazy and angry, I mean when are those eyes not pinned. Blue is the sweetest ever, thinking there is someone who has a ring neck that can be his real friend, and Brando can go on some CBD oil,lol, never would I have thought she would become this way, and it's not you Marlene! Thanks for a heads up with Brando these days, hope it improves.
😅 I swear to you... when she was a baby, like say only 6 weeks old right away, i could tell she had an attitude. I would show her toys in the store and she would attack them and yell at them. I was like...uh oh!!
It was you smacking his face over and over again with your big colored fingernails . He hated it so bad. You did it multiple times each time you would visit him. He would fight back trying to tell you but you didn't listen. I hated watching you jab at his beak and him having to fight you off. This happened every time you visited him. Watch the video's in order and you can see when it starts and how it progresses to the point where he didn't care to see you or your jabbing fingernails anymore.@@MARLENEMCCOHEN

Marlene, I know, I remember every visit and how she hated your nails lol, yep she is no Picasso, but she is lucky to have you as her mom, too bad she doesn't know it.
Jim, let's not get mean, Marlene's nails were unavoidable, if she came to hold her, she had to use her hands, none of the other birds have issues in case you forgot.
Brando is always mad because when Marlene use to visit him as a baby in the store she would piss him off so bad over and over and over with her huge colored fingernails tapping on his beak. He hated it so bad and she did it every time she visited him. She always laughed and kept doing it. You could see he started not enjoying when she would visit. He was so sweet before she started that and now look at him. Everybody laughs at him now but they don't ever consider how it happened.
I saw it start to happen from day one. He seriously hated her fingernails taping on his beak for her enjoyment. And the sad part is she thought it was funny, not seeing how upset he was. Yes I am qualified to say this. Yellow Nape owner for over 46 years. Raised from a baby. Don't tell anybody but I'm a bird whisperer.

I do think there may be some truth to what you're saying as I skimmed back through videos. But it might not be the entire reason for Brando's attitude.
For every 5 minutes you saw of Brando in a video I was with HER for 20 hours at least. She was angry at every toy, she saw especially when things were orange. She's not even bothered by my nails. Before she could even lift her head properly, she was yelling at Philippe and he warned me. But also she is actually really sweet. It's just funnier to post videos of her when she is angry. Same with Vinny.
