@Gyo Basama My grandmother and grandfather found shelter in North-West Iran-Kurdistan :) while WW II in 1942. My grandparents spend 5 years living with big lovely Kurdish family in their house. Language differences, differences in tradition, religious differences were not an obstacle :) At first Christian-Christmas, Kurdish father bring a tree from forest and said it for sure not the same as in Poland but atleast now you have a Christmas Tree and enjoy your tradition my grandparents was in happy-shock :D In 1947 my grandparents decided to go back Poland well after WW II Poland was occupied by Russia so Kurdish family offered to stay longer if they want. My grandfather said i'm fully recovered from all injuries with big help from your side and i am highly thankful for everything what you done but i have to go back and fight for my country once again. My grandparents was writing a diary throughout the stay in Kurdistan so whenever i want i can read the story day by day :) My grandparents pass the diary to my Father and when the time come he will pass it to me when my time will come i will pass it to my childrens. The diary stay in an honorable place in my family house and forever will be. Many thanks and great sympathy for the Kurds i hope one day you will be able to create your independent country!
