small update for you, we are on the last patch so the adds on nightbane are affected by all damage types now (late in the game they made the bosses in kara give badges and made the adds able to take all damage). though we are not getting the heroic badges out of kara yet, we are on the patch where the adds took all damage types to make the boss easier to farm out.
Doesn't PLG help the clear go faster but shatar keeps you a little safer and healthier? He did show that you don't need PLG, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it if you have it.
@@ianwest7763 Honestly, no. The extra block and avoidance from a strong shield makes you able to drop more consecrates and worry less about bubbling and healing. I do many pulls by keeping consecrate down, Colossus trinket, and a major health pot. Don't even need to bubble many pulls. Also found that with ~400 SP you don't take many hits as things die fast. Do 2 runs with 40-50 durability left on shield.
the major mana and hp pots help when you are too poor or strike out on finding cheap supers, all these resources are cool to be relevant even in 70 content, wish retail had this level of overlap.
Not really, how it works it has a chance to give you mana. Those kind of proc effects are near 100% with the gavel. Also you're getting parry hasted hard and will have 100% reckoning uptime if you have 1 point in it. Gavel also has more stamina.
Because it’s too slow, you won’t be able to consume all your reckoning stacks with a slow weapon missing out threat from your seal. Also faster weapons give you much more benefit on all your seals.
Ya the only guides out there say to use vanilla thorn items... but in practice that is a terrible idea. Atm I think I want traditional tank gear with sp on it
Great video man. I have a few questions: 1) Hoe do I get key to enter? I looked it up online and it wasn’t clear. 2) what rotation do you use? I think I need to just go in there try. I’m sitting at 12.7k unbidden, defense capped, immune crush, and 380ish SP. any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.
they shouldn't be, pre-nerf Nightbane adds have the immolation aura but aren't magic immune, post-nerf doesn't have the immolation aura but the trade off is making them magic immune we got pre-nerf Kara on other bosses like Shade so it's probably intended
hi gray can you please make a video just on pala talents and what is better between talents?and is upgraded retri aura better or sanc aura and all those things??
Thinking of testing that or a similar build out. What do you use for pulling instead of avenger shield? Just dynamite and/or judgment? Plan to make a goblin rocket launcher trinket at some point as well, so that could be an option. Anything else better?
@@quarterpinte I'm basically asking cuz having two separate accounts and paying for them is like looking at the game like a business, which admittedly could be fun to optimize but imo kills the entertainment of it. Had to ask cuz Alts to me are on the same account
question. When doing this farm, is it better to use the spore shield? or the flame shield? i currently have the flameshield that i bought when i was level 30 but im not sure what's better.
i think it realy dpends on ur setup, ive seen another video in wich u lower ur defence rating and just go spellpower to get hit more and proc shield, but seems pretty niche, otherwise spore shield might just be better casually
You said this spec could be used for raiding but what would you use as your initial threat pull? I find in raid everyone wants to go balls to the wall with dps
Yeah mate. You want to have two pieces of Righteous gear for the 15% cost reduction of concencration! Then you want to have at least 300 spell power, after you reach def/crush cap! I also recommend eating Blackened Sporefish 20 stam and 8mp5 and using the weaker mana oil for level 40's. I use bless of sanc and seal of corruption and I dont go oom unless its a huge pull or we are 5 pulls in.
Botting stratholme is not possible anymore since there is no undetected way to unlock the game API right now (neither for classic or Retail or TBC Classic) Inside a dungeon there is no way to even get any positions without using the locked functions, not even the position of the target or the player (which is possible in the open world).

7:32 'Crest of Shatar does just fine, no need for gimmick shields' 9:19- 'K'
The Sporeggar shield is likely just a back-up shield. I use Sha'tar shield and switch to Sporeggar once my shield breaks.

Not that it's bad to have the holy water but pretty sure the Nightbane adds were not made immune to other magic damage.
everything but holy damage far as spells go. Plus the holy water is nice for the trash around Morose
@@DubhghlasMacDubhghlas that was in beta, on live they aren't immune to anything
yea every guide says they are immune but they are not im a mage and i killed him 2 times already the adds are not immune to any kind of magic dmg

Is this farm possible before 70? perhaps doing smaller pulls
Damn farming the ZG mount would be nuts
you can do that slave pens boost too, if hard but pays off
Black Morass is just easier, quicker and drops level relevant 66-70 BoE rares and epics
Nightbane launched post-nerf status
You should use a 1.6-1.8 speed weapon instead of that lower city exalted mace at 2.6, gets you alot more mana back from seal / judgement of wisdom

out of curiosity, why would you call this essential over say, the black morass farm, where you can make 450-500g p/h ?
hey, i know its 2 weeks old vid but the lowercity mace speed sucks for pally tanking, better off with the blue rep one in caverns of time
Why is the mace no good?
Because it’s too slow, you won’t be able to consume all your reckoning stacks with a slow weapon missing out threat from your seal. Also faster weapons give you much more benefit on all your seals.
Thrallmar exalted sword is the best pre-raid weapon to get. Horde only though.
You don't need no pocket healer or mages... Just a warlock!
Hey boss. The skele adds on nightbane can be attacked by anything. The internet lies. Our locks and mages nuke then down.
this, but i understand the confusion. it was like that on the beta
How do you consistently get past these guards without aggroing? 2:54 I aggro pretty much all the time. Incredibly annoying.
Thank you in advance
the more reasons to limit each dungeoun to 1 time per day
i dont see a problem.

@@UAEcableRider mark this comment he's absolutely right
old oil is better bc of the crit rating or for healers the bonus healpower :) big gain that never run out of need in tbc raiding
It's better for mages/locks, but it's worse for classes that don't utilize crit very much, like shadow priests and prot paladins.

1) You need to kill the Magistrate boss and loot his key to enter Strat from back door, otherwise you can only enter from front door.
What stats do you want for these pulls like do i focus on stamina spell power or defense rating and do you need any int?
The block trinket from shattering halls is really good, every block heals you for 120

at the kill phase suggest you use Arcane torrent to help stack them casters in the pile.
He used LoS.
@@robj4078 look again a easy arcane torrent after hhe gets punted he had like 5-8 casters not even taking damage from the consecrate.
is there a way to do the undead part too before you hit lockout for chance for the mount of baron rivendare ?
