The hardest and most frustrating part of this grind, not mentioned at all by Arlaeus: the Dukes. Arlaeus runs into a druid who has done all the work already, but you probably won't. You need to summon the Dukes at Windstones, and in order to do so you need the twilight set again (cowl, mantle, robe) just like you used to summon elementals. However, you also need a neck, which is obtained by turning in 3 Abyssal Crests (dropped by the elementals) and 1 Large Brilliant Shard. The necklace then let you summon a _random_ duke. You need all 4 dukes, so if you rely on random summons, the coupon collector problem tells us (see wikipedia if you didn't take a probability class) that it will take 4*H_4 = 4 *25/12 = 25/3 = 8 1/3 summons of dukes to get all 4. In other words, you need 4 dukes and if you spawn them randomly you'll on average needs to summon a little more than 8 dukes to get all 4 (fewer if you're lucky, more if you're unlucky, but you will probably get some duplicates). It took me 7 random summons to get all 4, so I was lucky. The alternative is to get additional mats to summon a _particular_ duke; this requires a signet of binding, which is a ring you wear in addition to the 4 items you already need to summon a duke; the scroll to create the signet can be obtained from encrypted text turnins to the hermits (takes 8 hours and is a different form of RNG since they send you a random scroll) or from the AH; the scroll requires a Dark Rune and some mats specific to that duke (like enchanted water, elemental air, firebloom, etc) to create the signet you want, but will remove the RNG for which type of duke is summoned. You should first just get a random duke since your first will of course be unique to you, then maybe get another random one (hope it's not a dupe!), giving you 2. Now you could try and get the signet for your last two, or you could just roll the dice all the way to finishing... up to you! My approach was to grind the hell out of each camp with my 70 mage friend, getting a ton of texts (for the rep) as well as cowls, mantles, robes. Summon elementals for the tactical quests (try to have all 4 in your quest log!), and collect Abyssal Crests (can also be bought on the AH, though my AH had none). Use the Crests and Large Brills to get a neck. Summon 6-10 dukes which will hopefully be enough to get all 4 distinct dukes. No signets involved. For insurance I did buy two scrolls on the AH in case I couldn't get the dukes to spawn, but of course I bought Water and Air and those were the first two random dukes I got.
I gave 200 text to the Hermit, went to bed, and the next morning I got water and earth signets. I got the air duke first and after 3 more air dukes and 1 random earth got my cinder duke.
@@Sjimable Duke of Fathoms is the most common Scroll: Create Crest of Beckoning. Try buying one in the AH or trade some Encrypted Twilight text to Hermit Ortell, I mean between 100-200 of them.
Agreed, this quest is an example of the worst of blizzard gating important stuff behind nasty rng. If you aren't on a server with a lot of people still grinding away in Silithus, you could end up throwing a lot of time and/or gold into this farm.
I am currently doing this farm in classic and i have a few advice from my experience. Once you do the field duty quest, you get the envolope. You don't have to pick up the assignment from inside it, you can just open it and see what is inside. This will let you stack up on which ever one you desire to farm, which comes in handy later. I also did some quick research on which quests to get in the tactical and logistics parts to get em over with quickly. My advice on this part is to do the tacticals with getting the scout reports, as it is just running in and talking to an npc and running back to turn in. On the logistics part of the endeavour i just chose the ones with the "easiest" mats to complete, for me that was armor kits + enchanting mats + bandages. And with combat, there is not really a good way around it. Although i did do them while doing the scout tacticals which helped a little bit. For the rep part I totally agree that waiting for prepatch is ideal, but you didn't mention the badge rep quest. There is a quest where you can turn in 1 of each of the badges for 1000 rep, which i think could be a decent alternative to spending a ton of gold on texts. Hope that any of this is helpful to someone, and keep up the good work. :)
2:40 you notice a 63 to 64 tick on consecrate, or about a 16 pt increase from the 132 spellpower increase. This makes sense since the coeff of consecrate is .95, and consecrate ticks 8 times: 132*.95/8 is about 15.68
Why does no one talk about time? Here now my conclusion: till now I farmed 6 days for well over 50 hours with my T4 pally, after the first 10-15 hours I had completed all the orders, the rest of the time I spent farming twilight sets to make the medallions and spent a LOT of gold on shards just to summon the fire duke, after another 10-15 hours of farming I was exalted. at some point I stopped counting how many times I summoned him, 40? 60? even more times? I traded way over 600 texts to get the signet, almost all the scrolls for every crest, signet and scepter were sent to me EXCEPT the one for the fire duke, the only one missing for about 40 hours, i have exchanged the randomness in summoning for randomness in exchanging texts. What's the point of all this? ultimately to save time dungeon farming, how much time is that approximately? 10 seconds per mob group? how much time does that save per run? 1min? 2min? (and that is VERY much). How many dungeons would I have to run with the ring before 50+ hours of ring farming pays off? i could farm until shadowlands classic and not have the time and gold loss from ring farming back in. Too bad it's worthless in wotlk, so i would have to do between 1500-3000 dungeon runs in the rest of TBC to the point when it starts to be "worth it", but then how much was it worth? anyone can figure out how much gold i would have gotten if i had spent the time dungeon farming. I think you realize how moronic it is. Ask yourself before you start the question, if it is worth it in the worst case like mine, because if you start and don't get the ring, every minute was wasted, there is nothing else worthwhile to do, no loot, no gold, the rep is also useless, there is realy nothing else that effort justified. if i had known this before, i would have made a wide berth around this really beautiful ring.
I finished this quest-line today after working on it for the past 4 days. GL getting it done in 6hrs; 12-20hrs is more realistic assuming your RNG is good &/or the AH has items you may need.
I finished it now and took me 3 days (around 20 hours) AH has nothing you want from logistics and elementals spawns are soo fucking rng i had 3/4 elementals quests and one i didnt have spawned 3 times (had to go back to farming twilight gear) there is no way you can do this in 6 hours
I just wanted to give you guys a heads up to TURN OFF AUTO-ACCEPT/AUTO-TURN IN. When you're picking up quests from certain NPCs, you can risk turning in a set of a Logistics, Combat, and Tactics Badge. It's easy to redo some kill quests but if you're repeating a logistic, you probably lost 30-120g on that badge.
The fastest way to get rep is to forma a raid group, kill the first 3 of 4 giants in AQ40, run out and run back in (no resetting required - they respawn since you didn't kill all 4). It does really quickly.
completely glossing over the Tactical #5 and needing a bunch of mats to be able to get the right pieces of gear to be able to summon the dukes is a let down. In order to get the neck piece (Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station ) you have to get items dropped off from the lesser windstone summons and take those along with enchanting mats to get the neck piece. I really don't know if its worth your time doing this solo will NOT take 6-8 hrs easily double that even during TBC. Also the amount of money you'll end up having to spend to save you that time may or may not be worth it depending on how wealthy you are.
Can't agree more on the extent of the gear needed for Tactical 5. In addition to that neck, you will need a ring (twilight ring of lordship) which require abyssal signets (which are dropped by dukes). In other words, if your AH doesn't have these, I don't know how you can get them (maybe I am missing something). Also, as @leslie hong mentioned, this is still a grind in TBC...at least 12 hours put in here and I still have the dukes quest to go :(
@@tim6360 yeah I've been doing this for he past three days probably over 12hrs I lost track at some point I was neck deep into this and rather finish it than quit, but I probably wouldn't do this for 1 piece of gear. All I have is 2 more dukes, 11 more logistic badges, and then the rep grind. What also is glossed over is the twilight trappings (3 piece set) will give you a random elemental to kill so you can easily spend hours getting your last couple elementals. This includes the dukes to spending a lot of mats on the neck piece. There is away to get these items that guarantee a certain duke but I don't understand how to acquire these pieces 1 for each element instead of relying on random spawn. Very frustrating that this isn't explicitly laid out before you attempt to do this. I do appreciate the time Arlaeus took to make the rest of the info.
Edit: I just realized that it helps to listen to @Arlaeus and go to the MEDIUM (not greater) stones. I am guessing that is why I was destroyed as a lvl 67. It is also likely why my sets cost so much (and why I couldn't figure out how to get the Abyssal Signets to make the ring and complete the quest if I had to kill a duke to get a signet in the first place. Moral of the story I guess: pay attention to details and don't try to finish the quest at 3AM). I will attempt this again using the proper stones. Best of luck all! Also, I just opened 23 satchels (23 quests turned in last night = 230 twilight pages) and received 4 scrolls to create signets of beckoning (which are needed for the dukes). Unfortunately, 2 were the same, so back to either RNG on the summons or RNG on the scroll turn ins for me! Comments on this wowhead page do a nice job of outlining the requirements/steps for summoning dukes: classic.wowhead.com/npc=15206/the-duke-of-cynders#comments @@danimals980 A grind and a half to be sure (coming from someone who doesn't grind single objectives that often though). TLDR: Grind is highly server dependent. This will take the average person soooooo long if their AH doesn't have materials. And it could cost a LOT now that people aren't actively farming those mats en-mass with new content out. Catch 22 on fewer people in silithus...easier to grind mobs, harder to obtain items (and party members) needed to complete the quest. To give @Arlaeus credit though, this is probably the most comprehensive guide out there. So "Thanks for laying it out Arlaeus 😁😁" The Wowhead info is scattered and fragmented. Their "guide" just gives the mission definition and subsequent clicks yield sparse results. I guess it was originally created similar to how the "secrets" in retail wow are laid out: make it very difficult/long for people to discover, but once they do, the select few who endeavor to finish are rewarded. The item is nice and I will likely finish this (at some point) to say I did it. However, I am not sure it is so nice that I MUST do it. Plus, the costs are starting to get high (spent over 150g on my full twilight set to attempt my first solo duke last night and was destroyed...along with the ring/medallion/head/shoulder/chest....poof)...so I still need 4 more. To anyone reading this: I HIGHLY recommend doing the dukes ASAP in the grind if you can find the materials to summon. If you can't complete them...or realize you don't care to...you just saved yourself hours of mon-grind pain 🤪 Oh, and with respect to the items specifying the duke to summon, I think I figured that out too (from Wowgead). There is a quest chain that sends you to find the hermit in the south east. Once you are able to turn in twilight pages to him (repeatable quest) he will mail you (not sure how long this takes but mine arrived the next morning and certainly didn't arrive within an hour) a satchel. It will contain a lot of junk but CAN contain some scrolls (name escapes me) that you combine with specific items to summon each duke. In the video, this is the final item on the screenshot of what is required to summon the dukes. What I DO NOT know is whether having the item eliminates the need for, say, the ring or neck. In the end, this may be a 1000g and 15+ hour played item. In that light, it's "worth" vs. something slightly less BiS may not may not be for everyone. -end of thesis
@@tim6360 Yes, it seems the druid in the video did all the legwork and Arleus completely glosses over how much work it is spawning the dukes. I play on the fifth highest population realm in NA and my AH has none of the materials to spawn dukes. So its VITAL that you start the hermit quest chain and buy the mats to spawn dukes and guarantee spawns yourself. Its a huge part of the farm that the video completely ignores. He should add an entire section on the hermit and the mats needed.
@@cmill7272 The hermits can lead to getting Scrolls of Binding to get specific dukes, but you don't _need_ those necessarily. That's only if you want to summon a specific duke (probably advisable after you get a couple of dukes down with random spawns).
@arlaeus thanks so much for this. I've been using it as a guide. Regarding the spreadsheet, I noticed that the Logistics Task Briefing VI quest only need 2 Moonsteel Broadswords, not 3.
i got so frustratingly unlucky trying to get my mark of cenarius. when all was said and done, i had 38 tactical badges before i finally got tactical assignment V.
I DID IT IN ABOUT 1 DAY PLAYING TIME. 24-40 HOURS, BUT WHEN I DID IT IT TOOK 3 DAYS IN REAL LIFE TIME TO COMPLETE. ON AND OFF, BIGGEST TIPS.. DO THE COMBAT FIRST, BUT WHEN U DO THE COMBAT ONLY DO THE RED AND YELLOW BUGS, DO NOT DO THE GREEN ONES(WHICH IS NORTH) BC THEY HAVE SUPER BAD SPAWN RATES. THE YELLOW ONES WEST OF CC WAS BY FAR THE EASIEST AND I COMPLETED THE COMBAT QUEST IN 20 MINS AT THE YELLOW ONES. NEXT IS TATICALS JUST DO THE CAVE FINDING ONES AND PATROLS. FOR LAGISTICS JUST DO THE LARGE BRILLIANT SHARD ONE AND CLOTH ONE IS THE CHEAPEST WAY ANY OTHER ONE IS EXPENSIVE. I GOT THE TATICAL V QUEST ON THE 21ST TURNIN FOR TATICALS. also i got lucky and bought a decent amout of twlight text and gear off the ah, so it made tht easier. the hardest part was combat txt and then the dukes, u need to get a neck and in order to get the neck for the dukes u need to kill and spawn the lesser elementals tht drop abysal crest. then u take three abysal crest and one large brilliant shard and make the neck to summon the dukes, u then wear the neck and twlight gear, the problem is it was hard for me to get the shoulders and everytime i did a duke it would delete my neck and shoulders . so i had to farm 4 more shoulders, three to make complete a set to summon the elementals, one to summon the duke. i kept doing this and kept getting the same duke i alrdy had, i was 3/4 for dukes. me and my other pally friend then farmed each camp which helped alot we pulled alll the mobs and i then got like 8 shoulders, i was so hyped. out of no where a ally paladin comes up to summon a duke, and it was the one i needed, me and my friend killed tht pally which took 3 mins and then we stole the mob and i got the credit for my last duke. oh that ally paladin was so pissed, he watched me kill it and take it from him and after it was dead and i got credit he took the release, it was literally so funny i was dieing from laughter, i turned it in and got my mark of cenarius, turned my quest in for the ring and achieved greatness
You can easily find out the proc rate for the number of mobs you are facing. Just do (.95^x) where x is the number of mobs you are hitting, and then subtract 1. So at 30 mobs 1-(.95^30) you have a 78.5% proc rate and at 70 mobs it goes all the way up to 97%.
Already have it for my Paladin, first on my realm to have it of all classes :) From my testing it's ~8% chance to proc on direct spell damage, including the first ticks of AoE abilities. For AoE that's 8% per mob hit by the first tick, the more mobs the better!
@@arlaeus9491 Had it on day 5 or 6 of the AQ patch iirc, also ended up grinding the cloth spelldamage wrists. Lots of people in the guild were doing the grinds so I helped out lots :) It's definitely a big grind though, think I spent around 80 hours and 1400g to get the ring. Easily one of the better investments you can make as a Paladin though!
As a person who has done this and just finished, on a large population server mind you, this took me over 20 hrs and +/- 700g to do this. Totally not worth the time investment, especially since I was able to do the strat pulls with live side just fine without WoC.
as someone who just did multiple live strat farms and remembered his videos saying this was a great ring and didnt take long to get. i came to check it out and after reading some comments can confirm i cba to get this ring lol ill just use some wizard oil and an arcane pot.
Btw this stuff with porting for fast quest passing, you dont need that. In tbc atleast. Mail between account characters is instant you just buy items as alt and then send to main
Consecration damage updates dynamically with your spellpower, so the ticks after the initial tick should benefit from the buff, if you're in a kill phase and have 100% uptime all of your ticks should continuously benefit.
I just completed this and got Wrath of Cenarius. If there's something I can tell anyone else, do not delete all of your tactical briefings when you get 20 badges, KEEP THE Tactical Briefing V or whatever it is, you need it to turn in the Four Dukes quest. The entire quest chain and getting exalted took me around 17 hours and around 900g on Benediction as alliance, I did not fish for the cheap quests. I completed it as a human retribution paladin. I do not know if its really worth it, if you've got a couple days off and nothing to do then maybe, but personally I want some of my hours back. At least I won't replace it for a very, very long time.
got some bad news. At level 70 I have tried to talk to the guy that you have to turn the badges into. The npc will no longer even have the quest for you.
@@AmbitiousProductions I was just able to pick up this quest at level 70 - just enable low level quests in questie. It may be because it was now the repeatable one for me as I'd already started the farm in the pre-patch
@@thickskull The quest im talking about is called "champion's battlegear" its the person that you have to turn in the badges to when you are finish. Are you saying that at level 70 that is showing up for you?
hi guys, i really cant find Tactical Task Briefing V and i ask some my friends and they told me task v inside the Tactical Task Briefing VI and for sure i try 20times Tactical task Briefing VI but, the task v dont droped!:( pls help me to get it.
Dont know why you think you can have multiple identical logistics ones. You have to keep the Quest item until hand in and cant loot a second one, so its impossible afaik
Have you confirmed if this works at 70? I don't have beta access but on "other" TBC servers I am not seeing any procs on the ring, wondering if the proc chance gets nerfed above level 60? But wanted to see if anyone has tried on beta as this could just be a bug on server I am testing on.
Everything 60 is nerfed at 70. They really made sure back then. This ring never was a thing not a single comment from 2007 on it, people really think no one tried all these stuffs back then
When you press the ability every mob you hit has a chance to proc it. It then becomes a buff on you affecting your overall spell power and amplifying consecrate/life steal on every mob.
This quest would be okay if wouldn't be short of one of the Twilight set pieces all the time. Wowhead says the droprate is the same for all but i had 14 robes and 10 cowls and it was so rare that mantles dropped for me. Am I the only one? Because I think the Twilight Cultist Mantle has a way lesser dropchance then the other 2 set pieces. If you have plenty set pieces on your ah around 5-10g and you have the gold for it trust me and buy them atleast these ones you have way too few like in my case mantles.
You really do make the assumption that you can buy all these things off the AH. My AH has none of it, except a couple of twilight cultist robes for 25g each, a single beckoning thingie for 50g and 0 texts.
Just started this, doing Field Duty to load up on all 16 combat quests....Keep getting duplicates, on killing this bug for like the 6th time now trying to get that last set of 4 quests....fun...
Exalted rep will actually be much easier to get! As mentioned throughout the video, and especially at the end, the reputation changes in 2.4.3 to give between 2 and 5x more rep per quest (5x for twilight pages). This means that with roughly 840 twilight pages you can go from neutral to exalted.

@@riner9297 Your mouth is leaking excrement. That ring is insane. It's 132 spell dmg, and it's up 100% of the time. It's basically a third trinket. It's an item that allows paladins/Mages to print gold out of thin air, and you say it has zero value. The only thing of zero value is your opinion on the ring. Do you comprehend that this ring is basically saying "Give your boosting character 20-33% more spell power". To whom it may concern, this ring is BIS for any boosting character, Mage or Paladin. Anyone who thinks otherwise honestly has absolutely no idea what they are talking about. I would recommend just grinding out 2-3 days and get this ring. Of all the pieces of boosting gear I have sought after, I have never seen such a drastic change from only 1 item. Truly astonishing.
while being level 70 helps do these quests in many ways, especially if you have followed arleus' gearing before 70 guide. The overall rep leveling is much faster. cultists give 10 rep instead of 1 even after friendly. text stacks give you 500 rep instead of 100. that is all great. however, there are some significant issues with running this since it is stale content for everyone except us knuckleheads working on this ring. that means the AH does not have what you need and there is virtually no one to partner with to be "efficient". i have combat and tactical badges done. I know that the four dukes are going to be a pain because the beckoning items needed to force a particular duke to spawn are just not on the AH dependably. any way, happy hunting.
Ok a few points for someone farming this in TBC with a low pop (horde) server bloodsail. 1: as I was farming cultists (since the mats are just not available on AH) I saw they give 10 rep each, HUGE DEAL! 2: the damn cultist head pieces seem much rarer than the others, very annoying. 3: farming up all the mats without an active AH side of things is a griiiind, but it’s ok because I need the rep anyway :) Thanks dude great guide!
I am not sure if i should laugh or cry about this video because you did it with one month prior to TBC release when it was so much harder to do ( good job doing the combat badges with a full party ) and yet you added the TBC title as if the guide was meant for TBC? Anyway, the mobs are obviously no longer elite and it is almost too easy to solo the combat badges with a protection paladin.
Not true at all. I my wipe ratio in my strat farms went down considerable because of this ring. It's 132 spell dmg up 100% of the time. It's honestly insane. Like running a third trinket.
If I go farm Strat and boost 4 people 25g/each I get literally 100g/run. A run takes me 10-12min. So basically in 5 runs which is 1 hour I get 500g for the boosties. PLUS all the grey items, cloths, greens and blues which I also disenchant and then sell on the AH I get additional 150-200g. So basically I make up to 700g/hr. Right now I have 17843g
6 hours? It took my Horde paladin Friday Evening, all Saturday, and the first hours of Sunday to get all the badges and reach exalted. I gave 200 encrypted texts to Hermit Ortell, and I got 2 Signet of Beckoning to help me with the dukes, then I got my last duke after 4 random summons. Overall, useful guide, but I had to adapt it to my environment.
I applaud all that do this shit in wow, i dont have the attention span to keep up with all this! although i want this ring super bad, i will likely never get it....
Lvl 65 Paladin. 99% Solo'd the quest line. Took me around 400g~ for the Logistic, about 50% of the Twilight Cultist gear and 200 Encrypted Twilight Texts, price heavily depends on the server, mine was quite shy on the necessary items. /Played is a little over 19 HOURS, and that's including a lot of mistakes. - Keep an eye on your Tactical V, it's easy to forget about it after countless hours and put me back at least 2 hours of extra farming. Do NOT do the mistake I did and discard it. - I was able to solo every duke EXCEPT the Thunder/Zephyr one, had to bring a guildie for it, it was a pain trying to summon the right one again. Ideally, if you do it at a decent pace and with minimal mistakes, I'd recon it would take you about 15 hours~, good luck farming!
Agreed on the time (doing this currently as well). I have everything done EXCEPT for the Dukes. Just attempted one solo and got wrecked as a 67 paladin. Mob had about 48k health which didn't seem bad, but was hitting me (prot) for over 3k?!? I will agree with @Danimals as well that there are SOOO many mats needed for each Duke pull. And, like the elementals, the gear is consumed when used. The abyssal signets were non-existent on my realm (33g each on the AH but only 2 available for the longest time...you need 3 for each duke?). Not sure how I will be able to complete this even being so close the finish line :-(

@@riner9297 Well, considering the release is quite close, the uptime of the ring on beta is documented, I think it's a fair bet to say Arlaeus is right and you are wrong on this matter. It's quite unlikely that blizzard is going to go nerf this ring in particular as it has miniscule impact on tbc endgame while being very strong for boosting but not game breakingly so (as we have seen in slave pens, game breaking boosting methods are on the table for nerfs).
Already farmed 18 Abyssal Signet, still need the Duke of Fathoms (Water)

Great call!!
When you say one of each of the badges, you mean Combat, Tactical and Logistics badges?
@@iifetap8454 yes
2:40 you notice a 63 to 64 tick on consecrate, or about a 16 pt increase from the 132 spellpower increase. This makes sense since the coeff of consecrate is .95, and consecrate ticks 8 times: 132*.95/8 is about 15.68
Why does no one talk about time?
Here now my conclusion:
till now I farmed 6 days for well over 50 hours with my T4 pally, after the first 10-15 hours I had completed all the orders, the rest of the time I spent farming twilight sets to make the medallions and spent a LOT of gold on shards just to summon the fire duke, after another 10-15 hours of farming I was exalted.
at some point I stopped counting how many times I summoned him, 40? 60? even more times?
With the prepatch on us, you can simply have an alt in a major city and he can buy and mail the items as with prepatch mail is instant between alts.
Wrath of cenarius can be the best ring through all expansions ever but im not doing this convoluted, grindy mess
So glad we are done farming this.... such a wonderful grind lol

Buying the materials off the auction house with bank alts is the most efficient way.

@@jazzwinsky Lol, fuck no.
completely glossing over the Tactical #5 and needing a bunch of mats to be able to get the right pieces of gear to be able to summon the dukes is a let down. In order to get the neck piece (Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station
) you have to get items dropped off from the lesser windstone summons and take those along with enchanting mats to get the neck piece.
Comments on this wowhead page do a nice job of outlining the requirements/steps for summoning dukes: classic.wowhead.com/npc=15206/the-duke-of-cynders#comments
@@danimals980 A grind and a half to be sure (coming from someone who doesn't grind single objectives that often though).
So "Thanks for laying it out Arlaeus 😁😁"
The Wowhead info is scattered and fragmented.
If you can't complete them...or realize you don't care to...you just saved yourself hours of mon-grind pain 🤪
Oh, and with respect to the items specifying the duke to summon, I think I figured that out too (from Wowgead).

Does the consecration that procs the spell damage buff also benefit from the spell damage? Or is it only the next consecration that will?
Consecration damage updates dynamically with your spellpower, so the ticks after the initial tick should benefit from the buff, if you're in a kill phase and have 100% uptime all of your ticks should continuously benefit.
Yup, all ticks of consecration will be effected!
Theres no way its gonna be worth it... no way its THAT good, especially for horde concidering the exalted rep.

Field Duty chain is complete cancer.
while being level 70 helps do these quests in many ways, especially if you have followed arleus' gearing before 70 guide.

Not sure how I will be able to complete this even being so close the finish line :-(
@@tim6360 You need 3 abyssal CRESTS and 1 large brilliant shard for the necklace, not the signets.
@@tim6360 aoe farm the cultist. Take your empty pages give them the hermit. He has a random chance of giving you an item that will let you pick the duke summoned.
Aha you can just leave a character with gold to buy logistics.
This will take you WAY OVER 6 HOURS. I am going on 20 hours.
OGH Squad
jeez 37min long video... just cut out all the irrelevant stuff and make it 5-7min
Bro wheres the ring? Never be a tooltipreader-theorizer. These things have almost always iCD. Get the ring then make a video about it.
Anyone contemplating doing this, or at 10/30 mobs or at the insane cost of materials for the Logistics...
Just stop, it's not worth it.
It’s not that bad basic flying proably more expensive
this is by far the worst item to farm. A real pain in the ass. But im done. Never gonna do it again
Would it be faster to just farm without the ring than spend the time to get it🤡
the exel sheet need update. faulty as shit. lost nearly 200g tnx to that
Great vid but yeh... not totally convinced its worth it. You need to show the difference this makes on a geared lvl70 pala vs next best option
nerf inc lol fun detected
yeah nah
What a waste of time to grind this.
this is so annoying, classic wow is rigged
totaly worthless to waist ur time with this. i done strath with my normal tankgear and its ez
Holy crap, did you find school a waste of time too?

ugh
These paladin aoe farms are deeply concerning. Bots will be able to easily execute these farms. Gold will become massively devalued.
first a bot has to grind up the gear, they lose too much opportunity time doing this. It can take over 20 runs to get the shattered halls trinket alone. It's not like mara where mages could literally do it with AH greens.
@@Average1212 but as a mage youre a glass cannon, learning any boost strategy its painful and stressing
@@dannydiaz4316 you are comparing two separate issues the post I replied to is talking about bots, aka scripted programs. they have no stress and are all about the time investment to return ratio. My point was the Mage bots required almost no gear to function, where as a pally bot is 110% gear dependent.
Bots can do mara and ZG boosting as is
And v? Mages done the same fuck you it’s my turn a as Paladin
It's not a good tbc ring.
For general playing I would agree it's mediocre, but for aoe farming it's fantastic!
@@arlaeus9491 No mate. That's just not correct.. I've been researching this topic for months, and we do priv server testing in my guild, and beta testing. It's a really bad tbc ring mate. Very missleading information. It's gone be "ok" for lvl 60 palas in pre-patch and that's the limit.
@@riner9297 Don't know if you're being intentionally obtuse or just very bad at researching, but private server testing isn't exactly a good standard to base your expectations on, as shown time and again in Classic.
@@Pelleher yeee i might be both obtuse and wrong about the ring. my bad for talking in definitives really. sorry about that, kinda stupid of me. i have done good research tho, boosting is one of my two main interests in wow, so not just a empty stance on the matter. my impression is obviusly a negative one. we'll see if its godly or just not worth it eventualy!
