- In this video, I’ve left everything behind in the UK and moved to Egypt to start a brand-new chapter of my life-dedicating myself to studying Arabic and Qur’an.
This is Day 1 of the journey, and I’ll be documenting every step along the way. From reconnecting with childhood memories in Cairo to tracking my progress as I dive into this mission, I can’t wait to share it all with you.

As a revert it’s one of the most challenging and scary parts of Islam
Back in 2016, my parents took me to Egypt to learn the Quran. The neighborhood you moved into, I remember so vividly. It’s crazy because I also lived in the same flat different level with the same view. I recognized the shop across the street and the worker (he and I have similar names). there was a Quran school on the bottom floor I used to go to. I’ve made some of my best memories in Egypt. It was very nostalgic that.

14:10 subhannAllah, the khutba here was talking about the Arabic language. The shaikh said, "Arabic is an expression of an existence, a soul, and an identity. That's why scholars disliked the unnecessary mixing of Arabic with other languages without a need."

Talk about timing, we’re the same age, I’ve memorised almost half the Quran in the UK and spoke to my wife last night about taking a year to finish Quran and do the Qiraat & Maqamat if possible

Just got back from Egypt last week, met many of my fathers friends and my online tajweed teachers.
Had an amazing time and Qur'an recitation is so strong in Egypt.

Habibi amazing video really reminded me of this past year when I decided to live in Jordan for Arabic studies. Take advantage of the opportunity, do not end it short no matter what comes in your way, trust me, it will go by in a blink of an eye. I can’t explain to you how much I miss living in Amman. Be careful with saying that Allah is pleased with someone specifically as that is only known through revelation. That is knowledge of the unseen. It’s better to say: “Allah mentions the virtue of the seeker of knowledge, may He accept it from you”.

big part of what you’re feeling such as the feelings of happiness and peace comes from the reason and your intention for coming here in the first place, which is for Allah to learn Quran and learning Arabic, so you are Mujahid. So try your best to not get this intention, corrupted and stay truthful always and try consistently to check and purify your intention, only for a Allah

Try to join markaz al ibana while your there, you will become a beast in nahw and study with people of sunnah insha Allah. If you cant then join markaz al furqan who are also upon the sunnah insha Allah.

On Jummah your supposed to make it to the masjid before the sheikh begins so your pray can be accepted as Jummah pray and not duhr if you make it to the masjid after you have to pray dhur instead
