As funny as these mashed together clips are, the full videos for each segment are way, way funnier because you get much more substance and context. Often times the part of the clip they are showing you isn't even the best part. Peace.

The guy you mentioned who is "always there" is Andy Richter, his sidekick. Yep, Andy is his announcer and has been on Conan's show for decades. He had a sitcom on Fox, I think, back in the '90s, and though it was really funny it wasn't on the air very long.
The best comedians make fun of human observations, society in general.

Back in the day when Johnny Carson had his own nightly talk show called The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, he had a sidekick named Ed McMahon that sat in with him on his show and would announce/introduce his entrance by saying “Here’s Johnny!” So when Conan O’Brien got his own talk show in the early 90s, Andy Richter became his own Ed McMahon. And ever since then he’s been with him. Even during that limbo state Conan was in, between the show’s end at NBC and his new start at TBS. Conan ended up doing a comedy road tour and Andy stayed with him, and some of his crew as well. But dare I say Conan would consider Andy to be like a brother to him.

I did Ancestry because I wasn't sure who my dad was. I found out exactly who he is and I am grateful for this. HOWEVER, I don't believe I would ever do it or suggest it to anyone again. Still....for me it worked.

But I already know it's gonna come back with "You're a Polish, German, English, Irish, Dutch mudblood with something like 3% Native American and holy shit of course that's your face". Because my uncle managed to trace back our family genealogy to like the 1400s. I think I can make a good guess off of that.
If he is actually your uncle. I was 40 years old when I learned my dad is not my biological father. I had absolutely no idea my entire life. I actually thought I looked more like my dad than my mom growing up. He wasn't even the one who got her pregnant. 🤷♀️
Regarding ancestry: they wanted $99 to tell me how white I am, $299 to tell me my mixed heritage, and $999 to tell me we are all related if we look back far enough.

Let’s be very clear, I love Bill Burr to death. But a great deal of the time when he refers to or calls out “Millennials” he’s talking about the generation that was born in 2000 and on. Because I was born in 81, which would classify me as a Xennial, meaning I was born at the tail end of Gen X but at the beginning of the Millennial period, and yet there’s quite a bit of stuff he talks about that doesn’t match up to the Millennial generation 😂 Some does but most doesn’t. And since I’m a Xennial I tend to identify more with what Bill is talking about when bitching about the younger generation 😂

I did ancestry DNA but I do have my questions about the results. I have people in my family tree that weren't included.

I have done the 23andme, I was hoping to find something interesting in my ancestry. Turns out I'm white as fuck. 100% Northwestern European, 98.7% British & Irish, the rest French & German. My daughter also did it, similar results but obviously a little different, definitely identified she shares 49.99% of my DNA though, and there is a family member on there I didn't know, but turns out my mother knows who it is, got the removed cousin stuff correct on that as well.
I don't like the family I already have, no way am I looking for more. Dead or alive!!!! 🤣
I have a DNA test story!!! My Mom found out she was adopted at age 36 when we were getting passports for a vacation. She couldn't find a birth certificate so she called my grandma. She finally revealed, since my grandpa had passed and he wanted it kept a secret, that she was adopted at birth. Fast forward to about 7 years ago my Mom starts looking. Just to know. Health stuff, family history etc. So she meets this guy who is like a legit genetics research guy and after 2 years they found her family. Her Mom, Dad, Brother, and Sisters were all deceased. She was the YOUNGEST of 4. They were apparently a very poor couple that tried to get back together, couldn't make it work, put baby #4 up for adoption. So my Mom got her answer at 52, she's 58 now and still running half marathons while her siblings all died of either suicide or drug overdose. I have met aunts and uncles and cousins and they suck. So my mom got a baller ass life, is crushing it, and is possibly the sweetest woman on earth. Also genetics guy is like my 4th or 5th cousin so that was weird too.
It sucks that the TBS clips have to be zoomed in like that to avoid copyright.
Because it cuts out so much of the original frame, you miss out on Conan's visual reaction to what Bill is saying, especially the Black Friday clip.
Hopefully you're able to watch the original video, zoomed out properly so you can see Conan more.
My husband has the most scandal free family I have ever met until his cousin did one of the dna family tree things. They found out that my mother in law had 2 half sisters that no one had a clue about. His grandfather had been married before marrying his grandmother and had 2 other daughters. His grandpa died many years before they found out and his grandma although in good health is 100 years old and they can’t even ask if she knew for fear of it being too upsetting for her. I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that it made me feel much better about my family 😏😅
That is hysterical! My parents did those tests and the results were that we are the whitest humans in existence. Our genealogy was mainly British with a smattering of Irish and French. I was so disappointed like - we have always just been boring white people! It explains why I burst into flames in the sun anyway...

My family never treated me like a child and I have always been very mature but people are such idiots that they don't understand that children can be smart and mature! So I have actually been attacked when I was a kid by grown ups for doing smth that if I was 25 no one would even notice! All of that because they couldn't fathom my intelligence! When I have kids of my own if anyone decides to do that to my kids I will give them the same treatment!
Black Friday deals aren’t even always what you think the are. Especially electronics. The reason they’re cheaper is cause they’re usually cheaper models made specifically for Black Friday- they’ll have a few less features or components than other models so it’s not really on “sale”. Or they bump up prices on stuff before Black Friday hits so when you “compare” it looks like you’re getting a deal when it’s just the same price it was a month ago. It’s a lot of BS usually. That’s why I don’t bother going out anymore. Bill’s right, it’s not worth getting trampled over. Nothing you can buy is worth that, even if you don’t wind up injured or worse.

it doesn't matter if YOU send in DNA results if someone close enough to you does it, then they have your genetic information. There are recorded cases of people being caught through DNA evidence because their second cousin twice removed submitted their results.

Now I get to wonder if she's being cloned like a pod person, but also I get to look at all the ridiculous pictures of her mutant family from the 1800's that looked the same, dressed the same and I honestly think that nobody back then had teeth. We seem to be hitting a lot of repeats in videos now, as the same scene appears two or three times in separate videos. Same with the music, there are only so many times we can hear different versions of the songs as everybody has their own. I usually log in about 2 p.m. UK time, and all your videos are up for me to see. I look forward to seeing your reactions, but nowadays I'm lucky if I get to see 3 or maybe 4 at the most. I'm only saying this as there is so much out there on TH-cam for you to watch that it's a shame we are having to watch repeats and, also, with regard to the videos, I struggle to see them and feel like we are missing out in that area as well, as I can only see them a bit better when on my tablet rather than my computer, and just people have the same video as you up and we can see it properly without any TH-cam copyright. I think if you took some advice regarding this, your channel would be at 100.000. before long as you geting to 50.000 has been great but having more variety will bring more subscribers.Take care and look forward to the next one.
