Outstanding segment! Blaney's performance was reminiscent of John Andretti win in the Petty 50th Anniversary STP Pontiac in 1999. It was a methodical march to the front passing the best cars at will.... Heck of a performance!
Kyle Petty obviously learned very well under Papa Richard & Dale Inman. He "breaks down" the race in similar fashion. His question ( to the viewer's question) near the end is an example..."Would YOU (a fan) know "manipulation" when you saw it (without "help" from race announcers calling the action) ? I guarantee he (KP) knows.
Always enjoy the show. Cool having Kyle on. Will be pulling for the 42 and 43 to have a strong run at Phoenix to have momentum going into the off season.
@ dude I’ve been a fan of the team when it was Petty Enterprises lol I don’t remember Hamiltons win at Phoenix but I was old enough to remember Andrettis at martinsville. The rides been full of winless years but it’s always been who I pull for and now my son so it is what it is. One day maybe we will have a shot at playoffs again. Only Almirola took the team once. Anyways cheers 🍻
Kyle is awesome. He keeps it real. Martinsville hot dogs are magic. I would be hitting those dogs if I was in a suite, too. Kyle’s right, manufacturers have been doing things to try and get an advantage for years. Just part of it, I think. Legacy is disappointing.
I like, and agree with, Kyle's perspective. I'd like to get Kyle's perspective on the 24, 3,1 situation. I felt that the 24 and the 3 were on the same page. Dillon guarded the low groove for Byron. He could have likely passed any time, but had an agreement to block for the 24. The 1 comes along and runs outside the 3 car. The 3 car kept pace with the 24 and the 24 drove a half lane off the bottom to keep Chastain from passing on the high side. I'm not so sure Chastain was willing to "block" for the 24. It seemed that he considered diving over the 3 and inside the 24 with a couple of laps to go, but thought better of it and hit the brakes. I think Chastain would have passed both of them if given the opening, without crashing them, of course.
I grew up watching NASCAR and today's NASCAR is a joke and all about money and not the racing. It's funny how NASCAR hardly ever penalizes Hendrick or Gibbs and also Penske.
The manufacturers have been manipulating races forever. They bring a lot of money and resources to the teams and Nascar. Nascar is the big winner with all the media coverage, so Nascar isn't going to change anything.
Great show this week guys. Missed having the King there, but Kyle was great too. I'd like to see several shows with the three of you each season.

Thanks KP and DI for telling it like it is
Yes, Kyle. Having watched racing for over 59 years, I Know when things are being done.
Exactly right Kyle. Its the same for everyone, whatever point system is in place at the time.
Good to see Dale and Kyle

Manipulation occured when #77 spun to bring out a caution that saved #9's chances at the end.
I agree!! I felt like I’m the only one that noticed that one!
i miss kyle at announcing on tv. Needs lot more air time with kyle

Michael Waltrip got a raw deal we all know what happened did MWR deserve what happened to them I say no
Car radio chatter. That's just conversation. 12 should be DQ. 12 manipulated all through the race. f Toyota.
And if you really want to know who the biggest manipulator of a race is that would be NASCAR- debris cautions!!!!
I felt NASCAR got it wrong when Bell road the wall. He was trying to get back into race after hitting the wall.
You don’t seriously believe that do you?
Logano won six races. F NASCAR
fake sport. unsubscribing. just like my dad quit watching after spingate, i'm quitting after all the suits goofin with stuff and calling me a liar.
