I'm curious to know what you think of the new luggage. I've been thinking about getting something different before Sturgis next year. But for 10 min of your time, it couldn't hurt to give the lowering a whirl. Worst case, you don't dig it and put it all back to normal. No harm, no foul
I'm pleased with the luggage, my old throwovers just wore out. I chose the Saddleline quick release luggage as they are a specific fit for my bike and don't need the indicators relocating etc. The capacity isn't as much as my throwovers but they look great on the bike. Also, they cost me £320 (about $410) instead of £900 for HD ones. I was tempted to get Viking bags from the US but I know from previous experience I would get hammered with Import Duty!
Interesting result! I'm tempted to give it a go on my Custom! It's raining today, my new Saddleline luggage has arrived so time to go and fit them!

I hear the import taxes can be brutal. I've eyeballed viking a few times but I might have to take a look at Saddleline now. Thanks for the info!
