U.S. Telegraph AKA Attika - How to Play 🎲 and Why It's a Gem 💎

In Attika / U.S. Telegraph, players are racing to build their tiles into the central play area. A player will win immediately if they can get all of their tiles built or if they connect two distant corners of the board. So you can imagine, a lot of blocking! But overall, it's an efficiency game. Some buildings are free if next to others, and pre-printed resources make things cheaper. It's tempting to be super-efficient when building, but remember, it's a race! You might want to spend a bit to get something out early rather than wait for a cheaper moment.
Attika, designed by Marcel-André Casasola Merkle, was released in 2003 by Hans im Glück and was in the BGG Top 100 for a while, before disappearing and becoming a bit of a grail game. It was re-released in 2018 by Super Meeple as U.S. Telegraph, and this version should still be easy to find. I'll try it on Yucata first too. Don't worry about plastic inserts: just throw them away and put plastic bags!^^ I was interested in this one when the new Super Meeple version comme out but passed my turn (or maybe the explanations wasn't clear enough). I think you're an experimented old things seller: I've already bought four games because of you. I've got a new group of players who don't want to play complex 2-3 hours games, that's why I'm surveying your channel, thank's again
