Wow!! This is really cool! I remember finding out about the doors in Spooky Swamp and Charmed Ridge in my Let's Play of the game, and I was really freaked out by it all, lol XD But I didn't know that the doors for Desert Ruins and Crystal Islands actually still existed! :D So great finds on all of this, all these years later!! :D
@@TheRiddler6129 Yep, very true! So it was super interesting and surprising to me when I hacked into the levels to see these doors before paying moneybags to unlock the characters! 😂
@@SpyroJonathan I was also surprised when I first learned of these doors. I suppose the Spooky Swamp and Charmed Ridge Doors must have existed for Anti-piracy, but the Desert Ruins and Crystal Island Doors don't even function correctly which brings up more questions then answers.
That's surprising considering the fact they put the portals for entering levels below the mesh of the level so you can't get in, but here I guess they thought they could get away with it by putting a door in front of them.
Very cool! I found those Midnight Mountain doors myself and figured they were for this purpose, but assumed that if one hacked one's way to those levels early the doors would change position and actually appear in front of the portals.
It still amazes me how much anti-piracy measures this game had. When I was younger and didn't have absolutely no knowlegde about it, I did came across some of then. But it seems everytime someone does something funky with the game while speedrunning, another measure is found.
I think we know all of the measures at this point, I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of any being found while speedrunning though as I don’t think I see how that could trigger them
I'm all for a Spyro-themed Pannenkoek2012 channel
I learn something new about Spyro all the time! Thanks!
Well, this was adoorable.

Were you playing a Pirated version of Spyro 3?
@@TheRiddler6129 No, I just used Cheat Engine to check out what would happen, haha 😂
@@SpyroJonathan Ah. It's odd to think that the doors are even in Spooky Swamp and Charmed Ridge yet you never would see them in a normal playthrough.

Do have a video on the topic coming soon though, so watch out for that.
Wondering why Enchanted Towers Skate Park is playing in Sunny Villa.
Edit: I clearly need to spend more time text reading before commenting.
