Flying Terra for Kingambit is a legit great defensive move for her to pull. Most Trainers who use Terra in the game do it for offense alone, so it's really refreshing seeing Geeta use it not just to negate Kingambit's natural weaknesses, but also enabeling it to clap back with flying Terrablast against fighting types that would normally destroy it.
That was actually really funny for me. I had h-Arcanine out and thought she'd go tera-dark, which would take away the fire weakness and rock resistance, so I used Head Smash cuz it was the stronger move. And then she tera'd her Kingambit into a flying-type. So how's your day going?

@@SACREDSCIZOR9116 Yes, even Avalugg should have been replaced by some other more competitive Pokemon. Dondozo for example, who would have been an excellent defensive wall, even better than Avalugg. Or maybe even a Toxapex with Merciless and Venoshock, so as to effectively exploit the toxic spikes set at the start of the fight by Glimmora. There were many possible solutions.

With keiran bringing incineroar with intimidate i was scared that geeta was going to use tera flying swords dance and than sucker punch my entire team.
That’s what happens when you didn’t expect anything from Geeta. She had a reputation for being the WEAKEST Champion for a while. That wasn’t gonna go away during the battle.
I wouldn't say that. If you have a faster pokemon and maximize your attack/special attack. Probably could still one shot her depending on the pokemon. Cynthia or Red though would actually be a challenge.

@@BrandonJames2016 It depends on your team, really. I've seen people sweep Amarys and have a hard time with Drayton and Lacey. Or Crispin. They're all pretty good teams. I like the difficulty in the DLC, not extreme like some fangames but also not a cakewalk
The power lvl between your teams are insane, she brought literal ou hyper offense and you brought random lvl 100 mons if her mons were lvl 100 it would’ve been really hard
You can actually encounter this same team in the Ace Tournament if you have the Indigo Disk DLC and finished it. Only reason why I know is because it caught me off guard when I was money farming. And because I didn’t unlock her as a guest for BB Academy.

I have a personal headcanon that Geeta intentionally uses a weaker team in the main game because A, anyone in Paldea can be a Champion should they defeat Chairwoman Geeta. B, I could tell from her personality alone, she would intentionally hold back her full on team because she wants to see these students grow. I know this was probably GameFreak apologising to fans over their disappointment, but this is my personal headcanon.
Changing Glimmora from end to beginning was to me the actual great change. You swiped it, but when starts to make a hazards game the fight turns really difficult if you don't have a fast spinner. In the other hand, Kinggambit at the end it's a lot more fitting to me.

Honestly Geeta's first fight team is kinda easy, I mean i beat it with level 50 - 57 ish pokemon (and a Ogerpon which is probably why I won) and ended up winning.
Geeta sending Meowscarada to battle. Switch your pokemon? Yes. Change to fire or flying type to this battle for defeat with super-effective moves. Geeta's Meowscarada used Power Gem. Meowscarada's Protean activated. "oh shit!" That i want like this something.
Chesnaught is there because she runs a toxic spike stall strategy, basically the team is still constructed around her signature pokemon Glimmora, it's just not the last pokemon she sends out.
Well duh, this game is for kids, if you want a challenge from a CPU you have to add the difficulty yourself by not overleveling, and any other brain dead competitive things

Even if you Tera-Fire, and 2HKO the Glimmora (a Level 68 Skeledirge cannot get the 2HKO w/o sun support or Tera-Fire), Glimmora's Power Gem should still put you in range of Dragapult. Unless she blunders and low rolls a Sucker Punch (which even then would require a low roll on Glimmora Power Gem), then Dragapult finishes Skeledirge. And if that's the case, that's more of an AI problem than a team composition problem. If we assume that her team is at the Level it's supposed to be (Lv 84-85), then Glimmora (EVEN with 0 SpA neutral nature) EASILY OHKO's Skeledirge. Im kinda sad that we don't have the opportunity to fight alle those trainers evenly (I mean u kinda can but having to lvl pokemon on point or a bit less is kinda annoying especially by this amount of people to battle against) I wish we would got battle tower back so u could fight all of them with even lvls and have more fights in general were u need to think.
These battles are cool but I would have preferred that in these battles all pokemon get automatically forced to scale down to level 50 just to make it more interesting.

I don't care what anyone said i love my girl Geeta. Of course shes easy to beat but to me its not her fault. The gamefreak done her in. Regardless shes my favorite in SV right beside Penny.
During the third invite (speaking with them each time previously, battle is not necessary) you can trade, any pokemon can be traded. This gets you a gold border, three gold borders unlocks any teacher you have max bond with, 5 borders unlocks the two elite four members of the roster. The final three, suspected to be Arven, Nemona and Penny are likely to be unlocked in the Indigo Disk epilogue episode. Hope this helps.
Three trades for the teachers (you also have to complete their side stories), five trades for the Elite Four, eight trades for Geeta, ten trades for the secret superboss, play the epilogue (doesn't come out until January 24th) for the last three.
Yall need to stop using lv 100 Pokémon and actually fight these battles properly. God I hate how convenient everything is in this game the second players get those xl mints you all just use em and bypass so much of the game. I usually don’t care how people play there games but seeing all these TH-cam videos with people using max lv mons all the time is sad af.
I ended up making new teams for both DLC just to try and level match the opponents. If not for Drayden getting me to switch out for locally caught pokemon (which I kept for his battle), I would have been overlevelled again by the Champion. They probably should have scaled the levels higher, but I do agree that going into these with Lv 100s is missing half of the fun.
gamefreak is horrible and nintendo should step in and just develop the next couple games for them Game freak does not care about quality only money they will poop out a game every year if allowed to continue

Geeta finally has a decent team
If you play the game as it’s intended to be played (similar lvl Pokémon and no automatic switch ins when you KO a mon) Geeta is actually quite strong
idk how you would be intended to keep your pokemon around level 84 if all the battles in the dlc would give you enough xp to level up after each one

You can just fight her in the regular tournament and she will use her new team. You don't need to do anything else.
I feel like if she replaced the avalugg with something else (like baxcalibur) the team would be a bit better. But this team still works.

I still think there is more to her she is still so mysterious and the Team is STILL a bit underwhelming i mean chestnought and avalugg on a champion team i have that small hope that pokemon will drop a free dlc where Geeta is reveald to be evil and gets another big Buff because think about it that wierd crossed of spot on the paldea map the fact that there is no evil Organisation and no i dont consider Team star evil and the fact the the Player isnt top champion i mean in every pokemon game we became the champion here we did the same but there is still something above us it just doesnt sit right with me my theory is the next pokemon game we get be it unova games or johto is almost ready but they are gonna delay them for finishing touches and for more time on gen 10 so no new game this year but a free dlc mid 2024

The Pokémon Emerald Gym Leaders are fun because they have different Pokémon in their team. I think that applies to Platinum too.

How do you unlock more of the trainers?
Trade a lot of pokemon with the gym leaders and BB elite four and for the teachers you have to do their classes.
During the third invite (speaking with them each time previously, battle is not necessary) you can trade, any pokemon can be traded. This gets you a gold border, three gold borders unlocks any teacher you have max bond with, 5 borders unlocks the two elite four members of the roster. The final three, suspected to be Arven, Nemona and Penny are likely to be unlocked in the Indigo Disk epilogue episode.

Three trades for the teachers (you also have to complete their side stories), five trades for the Elite Four, eight trades for Geeta, ten trades for the secret superboss, play the epilogue (doesn't come out until January 24th) for the last three.

Yall need to stop using lv 100 Pokémon and actually fight these battles properly. God I hate how convenient everything is in this game the second players get those xl mints you all just use em and bypass so much of the game. I usually don’t care how people play there games but seeing all these TH-cam videos with people using max lv mons all the time is sad af.
I ended up making new teams for both DLC just to try and level match the opponents. If not for Drayden getting me to switch out for locally caught pokemon (which I kept for his battle), I would have been overlevelled again by the Champion. They probably should have scaled the levels higher, but I do agree that going into these with Lv 100s is missing half of the fun.
People have a right to play the game however they want.
