    I think your channel is probably the best Blender one out there, you do what the title actually says and you don't waste time about it. Thanks

    So useful! I imported SFM models of brass instruments for an upcoming project, and I wanted to change the colors to make them look more metallic, so this tutorial was incredibly useful! It worked, too! Thanks!😁👌

    Will the same colouring work on like liquid gold? I’m trying to do a still render of a liquid gold running down slowly a rigged model

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it should work. Once I also made a molten gold composition. You may need to tweak the values little bit here and there, for the perfect look. The given values can be a good starting point. For liquid gold, you need to enable a partial transparency or translucency. Also, it will look better if you add little bit of emission as well, maybe a golden-red color emission, as if the gold is hot and it is emitting some light (do not overdo this effect, just a slight touch - which is barely visible - will bring realism).

      @@5MinutesBlender May I ask if you can do a step by step video on it? I’m just a beginner trying to understand blender

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SkylarGem Sure, we will plan for this.

    hi I am facing problem in saving image as png, its showing very low light when I save it. But when I work in blender so its looking good.

    • @hijabgraphix
      @hijabgraphix 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@5MinutesBlender please guide me how can I save it in PNG

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This happens because metal surface (or many other materials as well) do not display correctly unless you have HDRI lighting in the render. I suggest you to check this tutorial 👉 th-cam.com/video/JUhq6cHTuOE/w-d-xo.html where we have explained what is HDRI lighting and how to enable the same for your render output. It will solve your issue. Unless you use HDRI lighting in the render, the output will look very dull & lifeless.

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hijabgraphix Bro, you can save it in the usual way once you get the correct output in render. There is no difference in the save part. Please enable the HDRI lighting in render following the link I have given. You will get the vivid & colorful output in render. Then simply go to the Image menu in the render output window, and select Save As... and choose the desired options. By default it saves in png format itself.

    This doesn't work when rendering...

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should work because we used this same method in many of our own videos 🤔 What results are you getting? Are you using eevee or cycles? Can you please send your blend file to 5minblender@gmail.com so that we can suggest a solution for you?

    • @DrakeTech-kh8hs

    • @5MinutesBlender
      @5MinutesBlender  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's true. We have added the tutorial link on how to enable HDRI background lighting in a scene. It is very essential.
