  • This episode its back to Darley Moor near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, for round seven of the HAUS RT Crit Series.
I was desperate for a top ten position and to bag a few more points in my aim to get my Cat 3 licence, I even joked about maybe a top five finish, but didn't hold out much hope for that.

As if you were saying top 5 wasn’t possible at the start 😂 loved Tom’s first lap kamikaze attack too

@@leemacdonald805 I surprised myself so much.
I think Tom had a massive rush of blood to the head and forgot everything 😂😂

Hi Craig, could i ask what the average speed was please. Not raced for over 20 years. Been cycling again now for several years and thinking about trying out the next race.

@@garryhopkins5275 hi Gary, my average was 25mph, which is about normal for. Cat 4 race. But being in a five man group, it took a lot more effort to ride at that speed than it does when the race stays together.
I’d fully recommend you giving it a go again, it’s one of the best things I’ve done.
If you do give it a go, let me know what you think of it 🚴‍♂️👍🏻
