- From day #1, Skydivers are ready to react to any possible problems in the sky. Malfunctions can occur for various reason and it's important to react promptly and cutaway the bad canopy if necessary.
There are different types of malfunctions that can happen while flying your skydiving canopy.

My wife and I are next year. Is the plain.
I had my first jump 7/6 and can’t wait to do it again. However, reading about malfunctions and watching cut-away videos gives me the same moment of pause as when I was at the door before my jump.
I know stuff happens and only a fool goes in unprepared but it can give one reservations about the spot.
That said, can’t wait for my next jump 😁😁
Expect it to happen every jump. That way when it happens you won’t be freaked out

@@SkydiveVibes Maybe if you jumped in few countries you could do review or just tell little bit about different drop zones, maybe you noticed that they work differently in different places? I would like to see that, because so far I jumped only in one place, but I would like to visit drop zones around the world :) I'm not sure if there is any difference, so I don't know if it's good material for video, just an idea ;)

This maybe a silly question, but if you cut away a canopy do you go and find it or is it just at a loss?
You will want to go look after it. If you can you'll try to see where it lands and usually skydivers on the dropzone will try to follow it too. ;)
Great question actually! Another thing that my instructors always told me was to try and save the cut-away and reserve handles. They are actually kinda expensive so if you still have them in your hands, save them. :))

Skydive Vibes you could do an AAD video. You’d be surprised how many people have never seen one or know how they operate. Would be extra for them if you had one out of a rig.
