    The entire fish was cleaned at the dock by the local Panamanians and distributed between the families! The entire fish was gone in minutes and all eaten within two days. I was very happy to see it make so many people happy!!!

    • @Chzydawg
      @Chzydawg 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@jmy7622 It's a spear gun dude, not a shotgun. What's more sporting than killing an aquatic monster whilst also being in the water? Not to mention the fact he did it in self defence, if you bothered to actually watch the video you would hear him talk about how if it was caught on a line they would have sent it back. He didn't go in to kill a blue marlin, he went in to get a mahi.

    I’ve seen that clip of the marlin being speared many years back. Never knew it was you and never knew the story behind it. Thanks for explaining the whole process, and awesome job. In 2014 I had an absolute giant blue marlin (1000+ lb) swim up to me in Ascension, but I didn’t have the heart to shoot it, it lit up in the most amazing electric blue I’ve ever seen. Felt very privileged to have that experience.

      Super Dooper. I’m pretty sure what I saw. All the YFT I shot and landed were over 230Lb and were about the size of the Marlins head. 2 days earlier I was messing around with the tail of a 1370 Lb Marlin the guys caught a few months earlier. That tail was almost as tall as me. And my buddy in the water that witnessed the event said that Marlin’s tail was just as big as me. But anyway I didn’t shoot it or weigh it or measure it, so neither one of us can prove anything. 😊
