Yes, and when he hates a fragrance why does he sprays it SEVERAL times above his head and then leans for it to settle all around his head and his HAIR? That is going to stay there until he showers :D When I try fragrance I might possibly not like I try it on a blotting paper or on my wrist that I can go and wash away at any time if I want to :)

I loved Obsession by Calvin Klein as a young man. In fact, I kept one of the classic bottles of it for years and years, with a little left in it, from 1991, and still had it up to 2016. I left my partner smell it one day: "That smells old" was the verdict. I don't know why, but I love the smell of my mother's Elizabeth Taylor Passion; I liked Narciso Rodriguez for women, but the male version is just too musky for me. And I like the Cartier perfumes

My very first fragrance, was Polo Black. Every single time I smell it I get goosebumps, but I do think it is because it has a strong memory attached to it.
Thanks to that very fragrance I discovered to Alpha M. Searching for a way to correctly apply fragrance, a video of him popped up and so my style-fragrance journey took to fly.
And Polo Blue, I have it and when I smell it, I just reminisce about my father and it is just marvellous.
Fragrances are certainly bond to memories, and those two... Never in my whole life would I let them go.

The fragrance house I despise is surprising: Diptyque. Early on in my fragrance journey I blind bought Eau De Sense. I hated it. I dislike juniper and that fragrance helped me figure that out. Then I tried a decant of Philosykos… more green leaves. Then I tried Do Son. Idk if I got the wrong formulation but it was just more watery green nonsense. I have many colognes, both designer and niche alike. While in a Zara store on 5th avenue, I came across the cologones they offer. I fell in love instantly. I purchased 2, for 19.99 each I believe. As a younger guy, I noticed that girls my age prefered the colognes from Zara as the "younger" smell attracted them. If You are from the ages 16-27, I think Zara Colognes are the way to go for an everyday use. They are very simple and minimalist colognes that most women prefer. My designer fragrances are too sophisticated for a 17 year old girl too understand and truly enjoy it. As a fragrance enthusiast, I suggest having 3-4 Designer fragrances for special nights, such as weekend dates, parties, and interviews, and a few cheap fragrances like Zara and maybe even Perry Ellis if you can lean towards a bit more. This way you save money and still always smell great! In conclusion, Zara offers a long lasting sexy cologne that will attract every female and is suitable for most situations, in fact, all, for a remarkable fraction of the cost of a designer fragrance.

Benjamin Monessa I wouldn’t say designer colognes are too sophisticated. Women love sweeter scents like ultra male and of course 1 million but ultimately I think it’s better to wear what you think smells good. I don’t think there’s anything wrong adding sophistication to your arsenal

It's funny, I can't really smell, though different things with different scents... I kind of got used to how they "feel." So I can definitely tell the difference between bleach and something like Listerine. The problem is, that the rancid smells go in just like the silky great ones and I have to discern it by getting that smooth smell and then being nauseated.
Point is (I know, too late), I actually had a bottle of Fahrenheit and despite being a huge Dior fan, I couldn't bring myself to going back to it. The few times I wore it (Dow to half a bottle), I found it to be too... I want to say "Sharp" if that makes sense. Whereas something like Dior Homme or Armani Code is more my style, as it goes in rather silky. Also, it didn't help that women around me kept commenting on how it's something their fathers wore. Though ultimately, that sharpness is what caused me to consider that it's not very "me."
