Honestly at this stage I think Luke's B game is probably enough to win 95% of matches. Scary consistency!

That 136 from MVG was spectacular
The 156 from Humphries at 13:08 when Wade was on d14 was impressive too , it all but finished Wade
Won him the match.
It was MVG in a nutshell. You knew it was coming when Smith missed. It’s what makes him great. It’s those moments where if you blow your opportunity he makes you pay for it. Smith’s body language completely changed after that.
It was a very nasty 136. It did hurt Michael Smit alot.

MVG has always been my favourite but Luke Humphries has been playing amazing and did too good on the World cup of darts for our Nation, so do i pick my favourite player or a great player of this year from my nation, i can't decide so whoever wins the final, good luck to both

That 136 ended Smith's hopes
Mvg just showed his class tonight. Him and then Taylor and Anderson in their pomp just have that extra gear where they can pull a big finish out of nowhere to change a game. I feel Humphries is also on his way to that stage although he needs more titles before he can be in that conversation.
Yep, all the top players just find that extra gear when needed and it discourages their opponent.
As far as darting performance goes, MVG has class but as a sportsman he can only dream of having a tenth of Humphries' class
Dont forget Lewis. Lewis was one of the most naturally gifted players and when he was at his top, although it did not last that long, he could give any player a run for his money. Him against Taylor and Van Gerwen when he was peaking are still 2 of the best matches I;ve ever seen.Guy could hit 180s without looking. really miss old Lewis
Probably wouldn't put it in that order or even those three. MvG is a great but has no real class, and is slack on his appraisal of others and in defeat. On that score, Humphries is all over him like a cheap suit and is already the ambassador of this great game.

Considering Luke's beaten MvG like 7-8 times in a row, I can see why people would get bored. With that said, Luke's probably gonna add another win.

One match was brilliant, the other had brilliant moments but was a bit rubbish overall.
Humphries is not gonna be stopped unless MVG gets his act together on his doubles. What a 136 from him though! That checkout absolutely destroyed Smith.
Luke got two handshakes from James Wade which must be some serious respect as some players don’t even get one. Wade played well and I’m sure he’ll be disappointed. I didn’t see MVG winning this semi but he finds a way but more of those 3 dart combinations and fewer 6 darts on a double legs and the final could be close.
MVG tried to give it away but Michael Smith didn't take advantage of all MVG s missing. Great final coming up

MvG plays 98,43 with 40 missed doubles, when he can improve his checkouts to 40-45 % he can beat Humphries, otherwise Luke will clean the floor with him.
