I'm a simple man.... I see a new always open episode uploaded, I click. Then I see not only Barbara and Mariel who I expected but I see Miles, I like.... not to mention Jessica Nigri is always a treat.

I saw Jessica and thought "oh, thats a good cast" then hovered and saw Miles in the first preview frame and immediately followed the thought up with "... Well Now I just cant refrain."

I'm gonna be 100% real for minute. As a fan of cosplay, I knew who Jessica was and in all honesty didn't like her. I fell into the "she's just doing it to get attention", "she just wants to show off her chest" kind of group of people. But then I read a magazine article about her and was like, "oh you know I think I might have mis judged her". And then she played Cinder Fall "wow she is a great actor", and THEN I watched the RT Doc. And my level of respect for her shot through the roof. I actually cried during it cause when she talked about those people that jump to conclusion on who she is and don't give her a chance, I felt so bad and guilty. I now follow her on TH-cam, Facebook and Twitter and love her videos. She's so funny!
Jessica if by chance you read this, I'm sorry and think you are an amazing, talented and beautiful person! So thank you RT for making that Doc.

I mean Mariel's right. When you think about a Rooster Teeth non-founder Barbara and Gavin are the first two names that come up. And I don't think either of them really get the credit they deserve for the things they've done, and the content they've made possible.

erwin schmidt I watch the podcast religiously. And though I've only seen a few off topics he's still treated like an idiot more then he's acknowledged for stuff he's done. Yeah they say something about him being smart every now any then, but that's usually Burnie or Jack and even then it when he happens to be right about something they called him stupid for.

Easily the best episode of Always Open.
Something Jessica said is such a huge truth I hope younger people really take to heart, being a teenager isn't the be all and end all of who you are and what you experience, as you get older and you're able to accept yourself, opens up a world of love and joy for you to experience. Adulthood is painted as a shitty thing to get to, working 9-5 eat sleep repeat but there's so much more to it.
Jessica is such a great guest! I loved the documentary so much, I'm not as cosplayer but totally empathise with the living in fantasy element.
Nearly watched the whole thing and I'm crying, so much love and kindness.
Jessica is a such a good fit with the RT crew. Always enjoy seeing her on a show.

She's asking him why he needs to keep his name, he could change it, become someone else and run away with her. And also, more abstractly pondering why the person she fell in love with had to be a Montague.

Uh, just to let you know, that "dibbing" sign you're popping... that's an actual word in American Sign Language. ASL is highly regional, so it may not be the same for all ASL speakers, but the region my sister learned Sign in when she went deaf used that hand gesture to mean lesbian. I wanted to mention it because it could look strange to some deaf people if hearing people are going around everywhere calling each other lesbians, or seeming to talk about lesbians suddenly, totally out of context. Though, I have to admit to the hilarious side if it catches on. A lot of deaf people are gonna find laughter at unexpected moments.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who recognized that when I saw it!

Before the Rwby episode was on trending I had never heard of Rooster Teeth but after watching some of the content and this show I immediately shared it with my friends. You guys are definitely going to hit 10 million this year.

I met Miles at RTX 2014 with a couple of friends that knew him personally so he hugged them and they introduced me and he said, "I don't know you, but I'm going to hug you" and literally ever since that day Miles has been my favorite. All the amazing stories about him are 100% true. He's incredibly sweet and caring.
Started tearing up myself after watching them talk about how they all inspire each other. I'm so happy this show is back :)
