I recently moved to Scotland for school and my boyfriend of two years agreed that being in an open relationship would be the best thing for the two of us. It helps to keep us from resenting each other for maybe holding one another back. It has been working for us because the love is still there even though we are separated by an ocean. It is very don't ask don't tell but it's very much about trusting one another and knowing your emotional limits regarding how you classify sex/emotions in your mind. Quick note on shibari (the Japanese rope bondage)-- most shibari forms will have a quick release method. They're usually tied in a way where there's a section of rope you can pull to slacken the entirety of it in case something goes wrong. I love this show. It’s not like they’re trying to force a conversation. They talk with each other cause they want to. I especially love when their discussions start to overlap slightly cause it reminds me of how I talk with my friends.
To add on to what Miles says about the societal pressures when you hit the late 20's. It still exists. I didn't have a relationship, no good job, and felt like a total failure as I was turning 30, and with each passing day that pressure got worse to the point I almost offed myself over it. There are societal expectations people put on you at certain age points in life and they can completely crush you.
You know, if you presented me this show and Off Topic, I would have never thought that this show would be more raunchy than five/six lovable idiots all taking the piss in a bar setting. And I can't say how much I love this show for it. I guess you can't really judge a book by its cover, and the fact that they can blend raunchy conversations with true heart-to-hearts with the audience makes me really appreciate RoosterTeeth all together. RT really delivers excellent podcast entertainment.
I'm waiting for the next episode where Barbara doesn't have this kink anymore, because Arin watched Always Open and tried the harness, failed horribly and destroyed the kink forever.

To be fair to Miles, I was a trumpet player in middle and high school and everyone was jealous of us (the trumpet section) and the percussionists because we got all the parts. We'd play the melody all song long, we'd get solos, even single person solos when everyone else got "section solos" where only the flutes would play but there's like 5 people on flute so it's really more of a quintetolo. This might be due to the fact that the 3 trumpeter's (myself and my friends Nick and Aaron) were some of the most musically apt people in the class and could actually sight read (I'm not joking, half the people in junior band couldn't even sight read sheet music..)
Note: I'm not trying to shade people who're just learning to read sheet music or play an instrument, that's what music class is for, but in band you're expected to already know that stuff. Band is an extra curricular like football is, so it still doesn't make sense to me as to why they don't have band try outs (at least at schools in my area).

I thought Miles was a little awkward before this. Now he seems so comfortable with himself. He also offered some amazing advice. I honestly want to be more like Miles. I don't know if he has a gf right now but who ever he ends up with is going to be a very lucky girl. Also this might've been the best podcast I've ever watched. It was hilarious at times. It talked about sex which a lot of podcasts don't considering it is a very private topic to most people but I always like to hear other people's experiences. It also gave some very good life advice that actually applies to me. I will definitely watch future episodes lol.
For Shibari and other related intricate bondage styles, the "quick release" is EMT shears. 50 feet of treated hemp rope can be expensive, but permanent nerve damage is a price that no one should ever have to pay.
I love this show for the fact that they can start on a ridiculously slap-stick tangent, then smoothly finish off with giving good advice and meaningful insight. Cheers.

This might be due to the fact that the 3 trumpeter's (myself and my friends Nick and Aaron) were some of the most musically apt people in the class and could actually sight read (I'm not joking, half the people in junior band couldn't even sight read sheet music..)
Note: I'm not trying to shade people who're just learning to read sheet music or play an instrument, that's what music class is for, but in band you're expected to already know that stuff. Band is an extra curricular like football is, so it still doesn't make sense to me as to why they don't have band try outs (at least at schools in my area).

Barbara is the one
I thought Miles was a little awkward before this. Now he seems so comfortable with himself. He also offered some amazing advice. I honestly want to be more like Miles. I don't know if he has a gf right now but who ever he ends up with is going to be a very lucky girl.
Also this might've been the best podcast I've ever watched. It was hilarious at times. It talked about sex which a lot of podcasts don't considering it is a very private topic to most people but I always like to hear other people's experiences. It also gave some very good life advice that actually applies to me. I will definitely watch future episodes lol.
At my store we sell surgical scissors right next to our rope so that people have a way of getting out of rope.
