Never liked the carbonox armor; it deprives you from appreciate ratchet's facial expressions (not mentioning the exaggerated organic movement of his ears when they are supposed to have a rigid structure). Also, I like to see him wearing the disproportionately big charge boots. Among other things: is it plausible to grind 1mill bolts as soon as you reach barlow? Such as repeating maktar's challenges, barlow's hoverbike races and/or resetting the breakables-enemies of planets you already visited.
They brought the Carbonox armor back in Rift Apart, and many cutscenes have the helmet come off so players can see Ratchet/Rivet’s faces when they’re talking.
There are skins that show Ratchet's face but one of the planets stops the protopets from de-spawning when killed in the PS3 version with skins enabled. Though in Up Your Arsenal you can use the tuxedo ratchet skin and suffer no glitches regardless of what port you use.
Just started my second playthrough yesterday, got the RYNO with such ease😂 I was planning on farming for bolts on my first playthrough so I could get it early but gave up on that and just mainly used shield recharge, plasma storm, bouncer and synthenoids
