Oh I see more of Toni’s fun techniques and makes has rubbed off on you too. I love so many things she makes and so many cool ways to distress and grunge things which is my favorite style. I had to start a list to write down all the fun techniques she’s shared on her channel so I don’t forget them to try when I get time…lol. Your tab clusters are awesome….and right they are such fun to make. I think making ephemera and backgrounds are always my favorite things to make. Soon I’m going to try some new gelli plate techniques and ideas. Isn’t crafting such fun and amazing there are always new things to try and experiment with….lucky us right! 😊

Enjoyed seeing the Etsy shares. These little tabs are so much fun. On the one at the beginning when you said you wanted something round I kept saying a button Gayle, a button! Glad to see one used at the end. You could also use a snap half, those are great to use too.

If you don't have a tab punch you can use those little cardstock embroidery thread holders folded in half to decorate. I wish I could share a photo.

Might be something to consider in the future?
I really love using punches. I cant get enough of them really, and the more unique the better. They work for so many things.
Loved your Etsy shares and I really liked todays Forgotten Friends Friday project.

These were a great idea. I stopped the video and make one for the journal I’m working in currently. Added an eyelet and dangle. Perfect! I understand about the painter. Ours was supposed to be here Monday and it’s Friday and no painter. Very aggravating!

I went on to Amazon to check Tim's Mummy Cloth because I'd never heard of it. The wide version seems very pricey but the narrow width was more reasonable. 👍

I didn’t have either tab punch until recently. I got the new whale tail on Amazon. I can’t remember what it cost, but it was under $20 and it works great. They have it on Temu also but it came faster from Amazon and was close to the same price. As far as the regular tab, I’ve been cutting those by hand for years, but if you have an envelope punchboard, you can use that top punch part to make tabs.
Sanding discs are great. Tim said he has used the same one for months

Okey - so, I think I’ve been watching too many of these videos; I’m not at all a crafter, but everywhere my eyes land, I see something that can be cut up and glued☺️ i can’t even seem to be able to take a snooze in peace. The minute I close my eyes, I see images behind them, even before I’m asleep. Yesterday, I “saw” a part of one of those narrow, flat gold necklaces (a broken one), draped in curves across a journal page, from corner to corner. Then I thought, oooh, that page could be cut in half, following the lines of the curves, revealing the page underneath. And from there, I was doomed: ………or instead of cutting the page, the necklace could simply be glued down at intervals along the curves, leaving it open in between for little tags (sliding in sideways on opposite sides). Then a disappointing thought, nah - a necklace might be too heavy for a page in a journal, even though it’s narrow and flat. Oh but wait, it would work on a sturdy cover, maybe a thick quilted fabric one, glued in a square, creating a picture frame. Oooh, and with a cluster of pretty little paper flowers in one corner of that frame?
I didn’t get a nap yesterday! lol - by the time I had “created” all of the above, it was almost dinner time, but it all sure looked pretty behind my eyes.
I’ve got to stop writing these “books”, or I’ve got to get out more☺️
