Interview with Mahmoud Helmy | Part I - Is Blindness a Disability?

Mahmoud was a freshman at the American University in Cairo at the time of publishing this interview. He won a full scholarship to attend AUC because he achieved the top national score among blind and visually impaired students in the Egyptian secondary school system (Thanaweya Amma) in 2019. In part 1 (of 2) of this interview (which is subtitled in Egyptian Arabic), Mahmoud tells us a little bit about growing up blind in a city like Cairo and shares his views on disability!
