I love this guy’s art It’s rich and expressive, as well as being extremely impressive when seen in a gallery But there is a question here which is bothering me Baselitz used to say that his personal commentary on his art was unnecessary and that the art expressed all that he wished to say Most recently, it appears that Georg is becoming more loquacious Is this a consistency we can rely on?
I paint in a tiny room next to my bedroom, completely neglected by the art world. My heart bleeds for poor Bas. Imagine getting cabin fever in that! Quelle horeur!
