    Dr Ck Raju has done a west here.:P Western people always call Indian Gods as Myth, mahabharata ,ramayana a myth. it is high time we use the word Biblical mythology etc.Indian Education system needs a shake up of magnanimous proportion. People like CK Raju should give talks in schools . Giving lectures in IIT,IIMs will be too late.Mould the child right at a very young age.

      in Kaliyuga- which started after 4000 BC, distortions started to happen in everything from darshanas to sanskrit language. Distortion of hindu/vedic practices (outside India) led to paganism which led to abrahamic religions. Distortion of sanskrit led to European and Indian vernaculars and other world languages.

    India needs a massive "decolonization-of-Indian-minds" drive. First and foremost, Indian education system should reject the notion of secularism and unabashedly reprogram it based on Indian traditional knowledge systems. The thing is, Indian TKS will incorporate modern scientific knowledge without a problem unlike the inherent conflict that exists between science and Christian theology that the world has inherited. We are colonized anymore and we got to let go the sense of inferiority. The sophistication and the advanced nature of Indian knowledge systems will create not only a better India but the whole world will benefit from it. It is time to break the knowledge hegemony of the west, which is essentially a synthetic unity created from highly dogmatic Judeo-Christian theological frameworks and binary logic of Greeks. Read authors like Rajiv Malhotra, Vamsee Juluri, CK Raju, Subhash Kak, S. Gurumurthy, Rajeev Srinivasa....list is very long, but the MSM and Indian academia will never talk about them.

      The ancient cultures were connected to nature and valued the observable holistic nature of all of life. The early Europeans I think perhaps were focused on material due I think to their wicked harsh environments....however they were very spiritual before the Romans and Catholics destroy e millions of people a good example is the history of Britain. I can't even keep track of all the invasions that island suffered through. The Queen of England Is actually more German than British. So even the English lost their natural culture. Their situation reminds me a lot of the Native Americans...and so many other cultures in modern times by the Dutch-Germans-British-Americans.-French....The long range of these nations consists of long complicated background stories full of nearly constant violence whether defensive or aggressive... And now the are out of hands. Their money-military-knowledge-science-medicine-foods-clothing...all has been responded to destroy populate the planet- while they destroy the environment and nature of humanity so one certain grouping of elites my control the entire planet...and maintain robotic control of a slave human biopic creature. Should have kept Europeans nobility stupid I guess. or should not have given over our wealth to Rothschild groups or royalty. Go figure... the claim is our leaders are all annuities by God...they rule by divine right....well then if that is truly the case then the God may be then be devil.

One can only imagine the inferiority complex the early whites must have felt seeing the dark heathen natives' superiority in trade, calculations, navigation, astronomy, architecture etc.!

    the seafaring people of Kerala along with some sages from the Himalayas set sail from India and went to South America and
    was the source of the Mayan culture. It goes on to compare the commonality of the culture with that of Kerala/India by the way the women plated their hair, they both wore hibiscus flowers in their hair, they worshiped the monkey God, the architecture of their temples etc. The keeper of the palm leafs is Dr. Ramyogeshwar Rao a retired professor who lives in Amalapuram in AP.

    The following summary taken from CK-Raju's 'Is science western in origin"?
    On stock Western history, science originated among the Greeks, and then developed in post-renaissance Europe. This story was fabricated in three phases.
    First, during the Crusades, scientific knowledge from across the world, in captured Arabic books, was given a theologically-correct origin by claiming it was all transmitted from the Greeks. The key cases of Euclid (geometry) and Claudius Ptolemy (astronomy)-both concocted figures-are used to illustrate this process.
    Second, during the Inquisition, world scientific knowledge was again assigned a theologically-correct origin by claiming it was not transmitted from others, but was “independently rediscovered” by Europeans. The cases of Copernicus and Newton (calculus) illustrate this process of “revolution by rediscovery”.
    Third, the appropriated knowledge was reinterpreted and aligned to post-Crusade theology. Colonial and racist historians exploited this, arguing that the (theologically) “correct” version of scientific knowledge (geometry, calculus, etc.) existed only in Europe.
    These processes of appropriation continue to this day.

    @Jennifer Grove (Dark Moon) Why does the "mocking" touch a raw nerve in you? Why should it hurt? Ever wonder? Its not "vitriol" when its true, you know. Self-righteous do-gooders with the white man's burden need to come to terms with what their "civilisation" has perpetrated on this planet, and continue to do so. Instead of becoming half-baked new-agers with no Drishti or Shraddha, first empty your cup, then study, understand & acknowledge the reality. That is the first step if respect & redemption is what you seek. "I don't mind helping the ignorant to understand better, but when they think they already know, there is nothing that can be done." This is exactly the kind of barbaric conceit that drives your creed till this day to keep worsening the cosmic nightmare you've created with such impunity.

    Another proof that the current number system (now called Indo-Arab numeral system) originated from India is the fact that no European language has the decimal system of numerals. They have special words for numbers, e.g. in English, there's no ten-one, ten-two, unlike Sanskrit which has eka-dasha (one +ten), dwa-dasha (two+ten). Decimal system is a gift from India to the world.

    • @SantaClaauz
      @SantaClaauz ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually Latin has that system as well:
      undecim = one-ten
      duodecim = two-ten
      The difference is not that the European languages never contained the system but rather that the Europeans never made a proper arithmetic system out of the inherent structure of the language.

    Much of the ancient Europe was Intellectual wasteland.Even their Bible says 3 wise men came from the East not from the frozen brain dead north that is europe! Infact for the whole of europe has only one Greek culture .The romans copied greek. Greek copied everything of Egyptians.You think Egyptians built the pyramids without knowing Pythagoras theorem!The so called roman , european architecture , even the american capitol hill which they claim based on greek architecture is a sham. Their Obelisk and Pillars came from Egypt and still can't match the ancient Egyptian splendor. The famous Archway of Ctesiphon in Persia( just google and see its remains) was built way before the islam and renaissance.Islam and Christianity didn't contribute anything they just copied ancient knowledge and hijacked and distorted it to claim it as their own. What they did is spread imperialism, colonialism , invasion , destruction, slavery , racism . Infact christianity brought Dark ages in europe . The renaissance is actually the revival of classical knowledge of Pagan Greek and Roman which is indirectly the knowledge of Egypt , Mesopotamia, Babylon...

    • @Rattielicious
      @Rattielicious 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Devi, only thing I would add to your comment is a big question surrounding the so called 'ancient Greek' and 'Roman Empire'. I would suspect the myths created give impression of copying going on, however, what if it was the continuation and preservation of the ancient knowledge (albeit slowly decaying). As in, the 'knowledge keepers' slowly losing the old wisdom and the 'ancient greek' and 'roman' did not exist as portrayed. There seems to be valid evidence for this and would explain why far more impressive 'roman' buildings etc are found elsewhere and not in rome (with claims the 'roman soldiers' built them, but of course....not). What would the population of rome have been at this time, how many soldiers...and they conquered, built and expanded everywhere with such limited numbers...hmmm...smells fishy :P
      Anyways, just some 'food for thought', no claims this is the ultimate truth but I feel many here have at least started to question the integrity of history and its lasting effects to modern day (as pointed out regarding the non scientific calendar the world adopted)

      Devi Vinod one wonders how this so called "Europe Intellectual wasteland" came and brought so much technology communication and order to the myth of Ancient civilized India. Mr Vinod you're Myth of the Ancient Civilized India if it were left to it''s own devices would have continued with brilliant Vedic astrological science and used it's peasant slaves in far better way transporting them in ox carts to festivities for the rich , rather than constructing the Indian Railways currently the largest employer in the world , as the economic life line for the people.

      myth is dat europe or british brought technology to india more like they looted india n it's ideas evident even now in d present age.
      the savage europe which couldn't read n write took the indian mathematics n science which was passed through arabs n greeks who gained it via trade. a continent which had renaissance after years of witch hunting n slavery through indian ideas owe it to indians for their source of knowledge.

      Dragon not once did I claim I built the railways. The steam locomotion was invented in the UK it revolutionized industry because it became the new almost infinite horse power. "Prior to 1850, there were no railway lines in the country. This changed with the first railway in 1853. Railways were gradually developed, for a short while by the British East India Company and subsequently by the Colonial British Government, primarily to transport troops for their numerous wars, and secondly to transport cotton for export to mills in UK. Transport of Indian passengers received little interest till 1947 when India got freedom and started to develop railways in a more judicious manner." History of rail transport in Indiaen.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_rail_transport_in_India. As to your myths of ancient Hindu technology it was non existent in recorded travellers accounts, and the country had few roads and was run by bullock cart. Produce a railway now with this "ancient" technology and airplane and ship or shut up. The British Indian Railway brought immeasurable benefits to the people and are there today.The benefits of modern western science has eradicated many diseases in India from tuberculosis to leprosy . Today India is allowed to produce many generic drugs patented by the west at very low prices. What India has to offer is ayuravedic medicine and healthy vegetarian diets. The adolescent and abusive language you use Dragon is the product of hatred and ignorance, no educated Hindu talks like this. I suggest education in night classes and anger management . You are frustrated possibly because you have a low income and may even pull rickshaws with tourists in them. Remember this is your caste fate in Hinduism accept it humbly and thank Krishna.

      west should be thankful especially Britain who managed it's financial crisis till now from the looted wealth. especially now a days say thank u to ur daddy hindu who invented the Pentium chips due to which u can use ur computer to access internet. another idiot who thinks generic drugs r given by companies. lol how much of an idiot are u?? funny thing is ur ancestors were the same hindu who has given ur life. they followed the same religion as us n they also worshipped krishna. say thanks to krishna that u got ur life due to him.

    Dr. Raju,
    A brilliant study and findings. But there is one thing to give an intellectual treatise & with pride; and another thing to say them with arrogance & with disdain for things other than yours.
    We may have made the best calendars. In addition we have an "all embracing mindset" which accepts God in all forms and imagination. I quote excerpts from Swami Vivekananda's Chicago speech - my "religion taught the world, both tolerance and universal acceptance" ..."assimilation and not destruction, harmony and peace and not dissention".
    You must understand that each has a name for his God. And that gives an identity to that individual and the community. As I fiercely protect mine, I deeply respect others'. Both identity and sentiments.
    Point 2: A lot of evolution has taken place in many matters. We as a civilization did not know a lot of things.
    So the presentation/narration should not decry others or smack of self importance and should be absolutely dispassionate. Thanks.

    I am proud to be an Indian and am honoured that people all over the world admit that ancient Indians were accurate in their explanations of science and mathematics. But when it comes to discussing God, man-made subjects and calendars cannot grasp Him. The God who made us all is called by many names, but the word "Jesus" was put by God the Father Himself, for the birth of His Son on earth, in accordance the custom of the Jews in Israel, where He was born. And right from the start of this world's creation, the Triune God had this plan of Jesus entering our world, to die for us and make us eternal citizens of heaven, beyond our lives on earth. This is something that we have to believe... just like how we trust our parents as children, instead of calculating and analyzing what our parents tell us.
