Within 10 minutes, this has derailed into the same vibes as pulling all-nighters and having absolutely mad conversations with my friends did back in high school. 6AM, playing Catan, in tears as I'm bargaining world peace and a second season of Firefly for a single sheep, through howling laughter.

Reminds me of when my friend and I played Machi Koro for the first time, we came up with a bit about a village that has NOTHING but bakeries and the ONLY thing it produces is bread, to the point where all of the buildings, tools, everything is made out of bread, and only ONE person in the village realizes how terrible an idea this is and tries in vain to make everyone see reason because no one listens to him. "Our kids are wearing hollowed-out loaves for shoes! One bad thunderstorm and we're doomed! What if there was a fire?" We were on the floor laughing. Good times.
Not to mention the mistake they didn't notice where 73 was on 65 when it should've been on 67 (first row dom picks up) 17:34 / 9:47

There's a town in NZ called Bulls. There is signage outside different buildings advertising themselves eg: the Library is Reada-bull, the Bakery is Edi-bull, the Police Station is the Consta-bull, the Hairdressers is Cuta-bull etc.
drove down to dunedin in january from the north island and the bull puns driving through was a highlight

And I missed it at first too, embarrassingly. But as Adam says later when he puts down the 101 (at 31:00 ), he is struggling slightly bc "it's quite hard to read them upside-down". Which is fair, tbh... though Laurie or Tom should have caught that.

my brain was screaming the whole time that 65-67-73 mess was there (like how did 6 people all miss it....) 😅 it was really bothering since it messes the entire game and scores up.. and it is not an "excuse" that they are hard to read upside down as all cards have the numbers the other way as well in their corners. 🙃

My favourite part about Brooke being on these shows, is that she brings the comedy with some insane little comments and life things, and then just constantly kills it in the games themselves.

Very interesting. I work in an elder care home, where one of my main tasks is the psycho social aspect, so activating them, making them offers to spend their time. In my experience it is really hard to teach the clients there new games, because you know it gets harder to learn new things the older you get, but I think this game might actually work for some of my clients. I might have to pick up a copy. Thanks a lot for the inspiration today and good job as always.
Also are Sully and Dom okay? There was a worrying lack of hostility between the two today. xD
as someone who hasn't seen any star wars movies and at this point never will purely because they don't want to lose the joy of dropping that bomb on people and watching them lose their minds, brooke is my hero and the jurassic park reveal was incredible

Very excited about Don't Mess With Cthulu. It's such a simple social deduction game, but because both the good guys and the baddies have incentive to lie and mislead the strategies are endless and really fun to discover.

I love this game. My family and me play it all the time. And it's always a blast. We call the loser the 'Hornochse' (literally 'horned ox'), so once you lose you have to put your fingers on your head like horns and loudly moo, to the amusement of everyone else. 😊
