I own a 2013 V-6 Durango AWD with almost 100,000 miles. It has been a great vehicle. It has tons of cargo space, is fun to drive and I have really enjoyed it - but the towing is minimal. I am considering trying to get one of the Hemii V-8's before they are all gone so I can have more towing capacity. I will miss the Durango's - they fill a niche of sporty family haulers that are fun to drive. Very few vehicles fit that bill anymore!
The 2025 Durangos will most likely have the hurricane engine for the RT instead of the hemi. And keep the pentastar for the lower trims. Hellcat and 392 will be gone. If they do a SRT model it will probably have the high output hurricane. Ram already eliminated the hemi and switched to the hurricane engine in the 1500s with standard and high output models.
the smog rating on the Durango 5.7 is 5 ,lot better than the 392/ hellcat v8 engines smog rating of 1 ,the hellphant , and demon 170 v8 engines was a waste of $ that $ could of gone in to a new V8
stellantis has laid off a ton of people. Some who have been with Chrysler for 20+ years. One batch was a group zoom call. Others were phone calls and immediately had their phones cut off. Reps, field service, business center, etc. So what's that say????
Hated when Durangos became unibody vehicles. They basically became AWD station wagons instead of the rugged all purpose vehicles that they were before.

Agreed 👍
Interesting video til you got to Politics
Not political Rob. Just a realistic analysis of how the November election will directly affect the future of Dodge, one way or the other.
