Without a doubt, this is the end of Dodge. Without the V-8 engine Dodge is irrelevant. Without Tim Kuniskis there they’re basically letting you know that the old Dodge is gone and that the new Dodge is electric vehicles. Let’s also not forget that they were replacing him with Christine Feuell over destruction of Chrysler. STELLANTIS is letting you know that Chrysler and Dodge are eventually going to be dissolved. They may keep Ram and Jeep around, but God knows how much damage they’ll do to it.
Going all EV while having overpriced inventory they can’t get rid of will be their demise. This entire EV thing will big the biggest blunder in the history of the USA for the economy.
BINGO! The Biden Administration has literally destroyed the U.S. Auto Industry with his EV MANDATES! Not too many auto consumers want an ELECTRIC CAR! The CEO of Stellantis doesn't see the light as the bulk of their customers don't want ELECTRIC cars! GM, & Ford are shifting gears when it comes to EVs! The CEO of Toyota says that their customers like ICE cars primarily! Biden's NEW GREEN DEAL was the culprit for the demise of the American Auto Industry! Biden has been MANDATING EVs only! A Trump Administration can hopefully correct some of this damage?
@@PassportBrosBusinessClassthis was their plan all along. They want to go entirely EV and wait until Stellantis realizes that the USA is a little bit bigger than Europe. Building a EV infrastructure here is a little more complicated than building one in Europe.
@@PassportBrosBusinessClass Stellantis has a CEO that praises GREEN! Other CEOs realize that their customers don't want electric cars! Toyota, GM, & Ford are staying with ICE engines! Many experts blame the automorive market's woes on the Biden Administration! Joe Biden has been MANDATING EVs only!
I have been a life long Mopar enthusiast with owning many throughout my life so far. I said when the Stellantis regime started, that the Mopar brands were doomed. Europeans are not like the Americans when it comes to vehicles and what people want. They believe, like they have tried or have done in their counties, and pushed what they want too the people, and make them think it is the best and the only option. The best thing that could happen is that the CDJR brands were sold off to a group that would offer what most want and the Mopar brands were founded on. Various options on the models, with power options and just over all choices, with price ranges that are affordable and reliability with in the brands. I just don't think the current owning group (Stellantis) will allow the brands to survive or they will change them so drastic that what they were founded on will be forgotten. My entire fleet is Mopar and are ICE vehicles, not that I would not possible entertain a hybrid version ,but never a EV.
If chrysler ever becomes its own corporation again then I would say they should change their name to "Pentastar Heavy Industries" I really miss seeing that pentastar logo on those beautiful mopar vehicles
If they were smart, Stellantis would bring back Ralph Gilles. He had more to do with Dodge getting back into muscle cars than Kuniskis way back in 2005. But of course Stellantis is not a smart company, they want to bury the Dodge brand forever. And this hurts, because I too am a life long Mopar guy.
I stated from the start of FCA & then loudly once the PSA merger was brought to light, "Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/'Mopar 'Murican muscle' is not American and they don't care what you think." So, blind fanboys, enjoy your Citroen, FIAT, Peugeot & Chinese "Mopars!" The Chargers & Challenger were an old Benz E-class chassis & a bunch of outsourced bits & pieces...ever heard of the old "Mopar" doing that? No. It was all pretty much "In house."
The thing is there is no Chrysler anymore and I'd argue any autonomy that FCA gave to the North American operations is long gone under Stellantis. The new North American executives named are just "friendly faces" and it's executives in France and Italy that are actually running the NA operations now.
Went look at some dodge charger sxt on the carlots..it so sad dealerships don't even clean the cars anymore. They full of dust an bird poop..nice cars gone to crap
The EV market is not crashing. The EV market is just getting started. Large displacement engines in cars are disappearing. Hybrids are a stop gap while the electric charging infrastructure is improved. We will be all-electric before 2060.
EV market not crashing? You better stop listening to the enviro-fascists and speak with the average person. No one wants an EV for more reasons than you can count!
Lol I’m subscribed to you, but some of your takes aren’t on point. Your take on crypto going nowhere .. your take on electric vehicles… you better wake up soon
I think this take on the departure of Kuniskis is pretty accurate. Auto executives these days see themselves as promoters of environmental & social governance , rather than trying to understand what their customers want and the roots of the brand they sell. Carlos Tavares is from that mold, a progressive corporate technocrat.
The VAF Zone you have a very nice smile thanks for this Videos .....kind regards Werni from Switzerland. Louis Chevrolet born in Switzerland in Chaux de fonds french part in Switzerland. My Wife drive the neu Trailblazer an amazing car.

I was searching for your channel for like a week but here we are I wanted to here your take on this
Tim Kuniskis is the John DeLorean of Dodge as Tim done for Dodge and Ram as John done for Pontiac in the of the World of Muscle Cars ...
Dodge perhaps needs a new parent company pronto that wants to continue the Mopar story!

yes and the famous Chrysler starter sound

Yes, I met Ralph in 2014 at a "Super Car Sunday" in Woodland Hills, CA. A great guy! He was there with a pre-production Challenger Hellcat.
Interesting-thanks for the info!
i hope Dodge has a plan B. we enjoy our Durango SRT. ;)
Hang on to it, the Stellantis vampires fired the engineers and nothing like it will ever be made again.
@@rogerrussell9544 this is horrible i cant understand......

Didn't know- interesting.
I keep telling people, Jim Farley is my guy.He believes in keeping the V8 and he believes in keeping the manual transmission.💯
It was done after 2023. Tim knew it, most of us knew it.

Agree....very sad!

23thousand dollar cars selling for 40 thousands. Guess there bonuses aren't big enough..lol
Dodge was done at the beginning of 2023. It’s just taking everybody a while to accept the fact.
No !!
No !!!!!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!
Retire? I think he got fired or just quit or just got tired of all the BS. Goodbye Dodge, rest in peace.
He was fired. Terrible CEO
the 2008 challenger srt 8 brought me back to dodge
they could have redone the 5.7 or a new V8 ... to me the demon 170 was a waist of $ could of spent that $ on a new V8
Durango , wagoneer, grand Cherokee L 5.7 is more fuel efficienct and better smog rating than the 6.2. or 6.4
Fired for screwing up Dodge and the Brotherhood.
??? He was the one fighting for the v8
Carlos T, is not for me.
So, what I hear, is they will be able to efficiently deliver lots of cars that no one wants. RIP Dodge
Stellantis has killed Dodge and Jeep will follow soon!
They are finished and the rest of the Stellantis group are useless.
DODGE: The quintessential American muscle car.
Built in Canada 🇨🇦 .
Engine in Mexico.🇲🇽
He bailed for a reason!

the 6.2 ,6.4 needed to go the 5.7 hemi could have been improved with all the the money wasted on the Demon 170
EV market not crashing? You better stop listening to the enviro-fascists and speak with the average person. No one wants an EV for more reasons than you can count!
Keep dreaming, Brandon
